Terryfretless

The thing is that at the gig in Gothenberg Norman was using a preamp/DI pedal. I saw a few pictures from a gig in Barcalona about a week later and from what I can make out it looked like a Sansamp pedal. It makes sense I suppose getting a constant sound while using different rigs. Does anyone know what pedal Norman uses? It probably won´t help my sound at all me not being Norman - my playing is probably more like Wisdoms than Watt-Roys.

I saw Norman a couple of weeks ago playing with Wilko. A fantastic bass player!! The last time I saw Norman was with Loving Awareness during the 70´s at the old Marquee. Which was just before they changed their name to the Blockheads :-) It was the first time I heard an Ampeg SVT (with two 8x10 cabs) An amazing sound, and a really tight and musical band. This time round Norman was using a rented SVT with some kind of preamp pedal. From where I was standing it looked like a Sansamp pedal – any ideas??
