1. I'll have to come back to you on that. I just got it back from a potential buyer, and now it's at the office (couldn't get it back home - or wouldn't - on my motorcycle). I'll weigh it tomorrow and let you know.
2. I've had the honour of going to one of his concerts back in the 90's. First two numbers the King and the band were standing - and then the chairs came in on stage - not only for him - but for the entire band. They kicked ass - It was a wonderful concert.
3. Hello people, I've got a 1979 Stingray that I'm putting up for sale. The body is alder and fretboard maple. It's got plenty of mojo - dings, scratches and all, but it sounds absolutely amazing. Pickup and electronics are original - one potentiometer has been replaced, but the original is included. I've installed new mute pads. I live in Denmark, but I'll be ready to ship it to EU and The UK. The bass comes in a flight case - also with plenty of dings. I've uploadet some snaps of the bass' bits and bolts. I know there are bassists in here who know a great deal about these beauties, so if I've missed something please let me know, and I'll try to answer your questions. The pictures have been scaled down, but if you want the a bette resolution, I can mail them. It could be yours for ₤ 1400 + shipping. Stay safe - and happy slapping. Jeppe
4. The bass will take place next to The Ark of the Covenant: Stored away for eternity. Or you could make the deal the bloody century.....
5. Last day for the Spector. It gets taken down Monday morning
6. It is a wonderful bass, but I rarely ude it. I usually go for my Pre-EB Stingray. It deserves Boeing played more.
7. Last bump. Will soon be withdrawn.
8. The bass is banging on the lid in its casket from underneath the sofa. It wants a bump. So here you go! Bump!
9. I used to own that bass. It's amazing. I bought from TB and traded it for a Stingray. Believe me, guys. This bass has sustain and sounds absolutely amazing.
10. Thanks, but that's not my band. That's Shemski's.
11. That Helium is absolutely beautiful. I watched it a lot, when it was up for sale. I've never digged the glossy Spectors. I'm more to the satin look. And that Helium has it all.
12. The sunscreen is sold. And the are still not up grabs. But the bass can still be yours - and now to an even lower price: £1400! It's a bloody bargain.
13. A lot of you have asked, and I would like to answer all of your questions: Yes, that is sunscreen in the background (picture was taken early Spring, so I get why you ask) No, my vintage hockey gloves aren't up for sale. The poster in the background is in Swedish And no, I don't perform surgery at home. That's just a military med cabinet. So now that's out of the way - here's a little bump for the bass :-)
14. Goin' up!!! This beauty deserves being played.
15. She surely is. And a well-deserved bump for her
16. I'm putting my Spector up for sale. It's a USA model, body in mahogany with a spalted maple top in a lovely amber burst. The neck is 35", and the fretboard is pau ferro (and smells wonderful). The electronics are Aguilar OBP-3 paired with a couple of EMG J-pups. The bass sounds massive, but the neck is a bit of a stretch for me, so it doesn't get any playtime, which honestly isn't fair. The bass is located in Denmark, and I will ship to UK and EU. Price is now £1400. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Have a great one! /Jeppe
17. I'm withdrawing the bass. She's going to live under the sofa. Gave it a shot. Cheers
18. Beats me. I don't get it either. It's a fantastic bass, and it smells great.
19. UP! And price includes shipping to the EU.
