Shouldn't you be 5tingray then...? -
Thanks for that - they look great, and I see how you got your name! Cheers

Bumping this thread - can anyone especially recommend one make of hanger over another? Or any to stay away from?
I see one of the Hercules ones (on Amazon) has a load limit of 7kg / 15.4 lb, which is P-bass territory isn't it? Unfortunately, not all models have a load limit stated.
Thanks -
How strange

Sorry, didn't see this last post - will look into the costs of sending it up North - PM me your postcode and I'll get a quote

I bought a pedal off Paul, it arrived well boxed, quick as you like, easy as pie, great to deal with

Snarky fans - check out keyboardist Bill Laurance's solo album 'Flint' (featuring Mr League) - released this week and very good
No. 1 on iTunes Jazz chart already -

North-west London's finest Megadeth covers band MEGADEAF are playing tomorrow (Thursday) night at the Unicorn in Camden.
Free entry, 3 bands (the excellent Cortege and Vigilante as well)
Should be fun, and loud!

Ach - busy that day, shame
Have fun everyone -
Anyone lend us their metal drummer...?
-
So my nostalgia-trip Megadeth covers band MEGADEAF have our second gig in Camden at the end of April, but our drummer has just been booked for a tour.
Is anyone in a band with a Nick Menza fan they could loan us for an evening of classic Megadeth songs? It's a for-the-love-of gig (so no money) and we would need at least a couple of rehearsals around North London
The last one we did was a lot of fun - we have a wig waiting should it be needed... -
I didn't see a single Pedulla there - not many passing through this site either these days...
I had a fun day -I managed my expectations in advance, and enjoyed it for what it was. Happy to support -
What time do the doors open tomorrow? Can't see it on the website...

Featuring the wonderful Kenny Higgins on bass - will be a great funk gig

Hiya - I can do £25 for a Central London meet - will pm you to arrange later
Cheers -
A big chunk of the London Overground is closed this weekend, so only the underground will stop at Kensington Olympia (District Line from Earls Court)- see tfl.gov.uk for more details

Bought a case off Ian in an undercover operation at Kings X (I think we got away with it!)
Great to deal with, really accommodating on delivery and arrangements.
Hope to catch up with him again -
Good
Glad that's gone to avoid tempting me any more -
I thought this conversion looked and sounded great - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bGhJlTkhSM
I remember a converted Fender P 8 string for sale on here a while ago... -
I've a Shine 8-string - I picked it up pretty cheaply on here, and for an entry point it's been great. (I tune it down so it's D-A-D-G, huge sound!)
But otherwise the Dean ones look to be good value. -
Cheers Clarky - have a great one tomorrow, am sure there will be a YT video floating about in a day or two...

For the first time in 20 years I've a gig playing thrash - Megadeaf are (probably and hopefully) North-West London's finest Megadeth covers band. I say hopefully as it's our debut gig
Free night at the Dublin Castle, Camden - we're supporting the mighty Vigilante.
We're on at 8, it should be a fun night...

I agree they are only going to be as strong as the wall behind, even then some people can't knock a nail in can they, I'm an electrician but I often have to re fix curtain poles for useless husbands that have put tiny yellow rawl plugs to hold up full length heavy curtains!
