Hello people of Basschat.. *In Advance* I used to have an account here last year I think but I've since forgotten what email, password and username I had so I decided it was best to just make a new account, apologies if there's a rule against this My name is Liam, I play Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keyboards & Program stuff but I do love to play bass a lot. I'm from Cornwall and currently with no band after I ended my old one after it went through about 6 different lineup changes. I figure I'd learn the main instruments so I could make my own music so that's what I'm doing at the minute. My influences on the bass are Joe Lally, Jenny Lee Lindberg, Jonathan Hischke & Peter Hook. All very different but brilliant bassists and I try to take a bit of each of them and my own approach in my bass playing. I'm into a variety of music but I tend to go toward darker music like Joy Division, Ataxia, The Cure, Warpaint, Radiohead... My current setup is a Fleabass junior (I preferred the 3/4 since I came to Bass from Guitar) into an Orange CR100BXT with a Lava cable vintage coiled cable. Sometimes I use a pedalboard with it and the effects I normally use on my bass are a Moogerfooger MuRF, Digitech Bass Synthwah, CustomFuzz Zombie Mammoth & an Ibanez DE7 delay. In the future I hope to get another bass or two, a Fender Precision MIJ in Black & a Rickenbacker 4001 in White or Black. Thanks for reading See you around the forum. L..
