[/color][/font] [font=arial, helvetica, sans-serif][color=#000000]When Peavey began they were actually making handmade guitars in the USA. They were affordable top of the line instruments that just rocked. This has 3 alnico single coil pickups, a volume and two tone knobs with a 5 way switch. The two in between pick up settings offer very nice, out of phase textures which is how the pick ups were wired originally for these guitars. As you can see, it has a very nice olympic white finish with a bit of mustard tinge to it now: looks great with the white pick guard and a beautiful tiger maple neck. I'm not sure where the tremolo is, also the knobs are now a mustard-ish colour... plenty of vintage mojo. This guitar plays, looks and sounds fantastic- it has a brand new set of Ernie Ball Slinkys on it and was professionally set up and checked 2 months ago. It TOTALLY nails that classic strat sound and is beautiful to play... incredible neck and great action. 1st Originals Peavey's were Hand Crafted In The USA 1985, 2nd Peavey editions later went to crafted in USA 1987 and 3rd editions made in USA, their logos changed and finally now they are being made overseas. You can tell on the front of the guitar under the Peavey name (Crafted In The USA) that this guitar is from 1987. The wear is very light with nothing ugly... very good for a guitar that turns 27 this year! [/color][/font] [color=#000000]There is no wear or spots on the fretboard from playing. However the guitar is set up great and is a vintage and 100% handcrafted in USA instrument with all quality parts.
