That's basic supply and demand at work. Currently supply is nil and likely to stay that way. I do know why that is, but let's not get into the sordid details. There's a snot green (beauty is in the eye of the beholder, eh) Celinder J  over at the Bass Gallery in Camden with a similar asking price. I do know that Marcus tribute bass is probably not gonna sell at that price but I'm only prepared to fork out half of that. Besides my Marcus-tone quest has come to an end (for now) with the arrival of my Xotic XJ-1T in ash & maple...

For the 70s steroids nothing beats CELINDER, never tried Xotic/ it got many knobs ?

Link to the ad? Oh never mind. Asking price of €6200...  Nice looking bass, but I find that a bit too steep.

It will not sell at that price, there's bin loads of Celinder's either asking a crazy high price or buying Celinder for a fair price then trying to sell it for the double, the market price on a bass is what the basses are sold for and they go for very reasonable prices most of the Celinder*s that are actually sold. Do any one have any idea why this "gold mining" and secret buying prices is especially going on with Celinder basses ?

I've always loved these 6 string Celinders. .

They are very solid solid solid basses with the best B! often comes in 36 and still being real smoth, for me the 36 scale length is kind of signature for the Custom model

They go "quite"cheap compared to what you get, The Jazzman Update/ Classic & P's are the most sought out of the Celinder family and also the most cash'y resale value

  4. Dont know about the title ? I think pretty much everybody knows Celinder basses or at least read or heard about them ? Celinder have bin building basses around 30 years, so plenty of threads about these amazing basses, if you have one and like it just keep it

It really is a stunning bass. It's the best P bass I have ever played too..... if it were not for my ageing back / shoulder etc I would be keeping this. It's my favourite colour too, especially with that Tort plate.

If it doesn't sell just yet, I won't be upset - perhaps I can justify keeping it for noodling at home....

That could ad a certain kind of color to your life, witch I personally would prefer

Can’t go wrong with Glock, trust me. Even their class D amps are awesome. Very tempted, but don’t need this kind of power anymore. ( I have a Blue Rock which suits me very well). Best of luck with sale, someone will be very happy with this. Grtz, Marc.

You will never feel blue with a Glock if you like a lot of power & clean sound ( me to Rock the Blue)
