  1. I say , the best combo you can get, just ad a bassguitar & you have eweything you need.

somthing werry werry special & raw about the Red Head! + the sound you heard on a lot of the best Records of all time.

yes its heavy, but you get paid back in sound (werry hard hitting)

SWR made some great combos, but this ONE is the best!(the EDENs I  tried dont come near this Beast -

you dont have to fidel with knobs to get a god sound; simpel)IMO (this is cheap!!!)

  2. IThis is the most popular line of

the TKS cabs, I have the H115

witch is 14kilo & have slam & clear tone for Lightyears!

theese cabs are spoked of as vintage sounding & clear & 10 kilo weight!!! Wish I had the cash right now, there is not mutch to think about, & one of the coolest custom color’s, somebody Grab! Theese  Cabs before it’s to Late!

I think the hole line of TKS cabs

project your amp & Bass extremely well, mine does.

(I’m not shure about the statement :not beeing made annymore: maybe there is a unwilling break in produktion

    Well lets see)

  3. This Is the best sounding

    (& dead sexist Bass)

    for this kind of monney

    all the DJ5 I played had á werry Focused(clear) Low B

thogether with a feel that just makes you wanna play & play

    1 other Werry Cool thing

is that before she got known

    Prince’s last BassPlayer was

Ripping tha Funk out of this exact

Moddel,,,,hwo else than the Legendary Ida Funkhouser!!!

(I dont know if the videos on youtube is still up with Ida!(?))

  4. I have the Tks H115 14kilo

got it without the Horn no need for

    that!

With the class D amps I use this cap is transparent & clear as á bell

    without sounding thin,

it reproduce the Sound of my passive bass werry well!

Forget a’bout the horn this cab

    does not need it!

    (Thats my opinon)

    itsmedunc what do you say?

I say this 115 is pretty Vintage sounding, thoug it reproduces

what ewer you put in to it pretty

    dam well!

  5. Have only had wery god contact with Tommy, thoug  I think he have

    some serius health problems

I heard somthing like that, not shure.(long time a’go)

At á time I was not able to get in contact with him, but wen I did get

in contact Tommy built me the lightest & best Sounding Cab I ewer heard! Transparent & clear as á bell with out sounding thin,

    & with Authority.

some of the other higend cabs I had before was Great but sounded Mudy or wooly compared to the tks with the same amp’s,the built time was around 2 weeks

my impresion of Tommy is that he is á Werry honest guy & super easy to deal with.

so if somthing is not feeling right their is a serios reason for that & Tommy will get back to you as soon as he’s able to do so.

He’s one of the Good Guy’s

Sorry to hear this, my gues is

    Health problems

    know it’s hard be patient

I Cross my fingers for Tommy

  6. For the time being I play pasive Bass

(just wanted to coment on one

    of the best looking Basses)

    Newer played a bad Stingray

nor one that did not feel good

& I played á hole lot of them

I think MM has maybe the higest

    standard in the industri

4.5 kilo will give crazy punch for slapping , & á wery sollid tone! in general

together with one of the best Preamps ewer made.~{*_*}~

I dont recall who Leo Fender got

help from to do the preamp, or if he did it alone? I think Louis Johnson had a big Impact on the Stingray design

    corect me if i’m wrong

  7. What á Lot of Crap!!!

(did not read it all at all)

    and one Freaking! Funky!!! Bass!!!

Must say one of the most beuatyfull Musicman I’ve seen

    Wauv! Good Luck with sale!

(dont sell that Musicman for that

    kind of silly coin)

ok just have to read it Cool!

& I just Love your potamotrygon motoro, how big is your Tank?

or do you just drive around in that

ugly sports car all the time?-

    [•_•]-~{*_*}+

    Love this Forum!

  8. Okay I was of topic(usualy is)

    sory!(still ment ewery word)

    ‘BB800/802 why other than size’

(gues i’m not the only one getting carried away of topic

D...,just Happy that im still a’Live

on the werry Cool, or to be clear

    Funky! Forum)

so the BB800 part of the thread is done, (ám I right???)so from here of there is

kind  of only the 802 left to talk about(I GUES?)

    -acording to thread title.

does the BB802 have that xtra juice for slapping da passive Bass all Night & all???-

    (Roughly said/asked)

    Annyone with BB802 expirence?

At least.....and even then don't listen to me lol

My issue is i don’t gig much, or at least haven't been, and rehearsals aren't too regular. Ill get something but might have to wait a few weeks to try it out with the band. As we know, most, if not everything sounds great at home. Then it depends on the room we rehearse in. These are the only times i get to tinker with things in a band environment. Could be by the time i gig i have realised its not for me (as in the case of the BB800). I went through two heads over the past 12 months that never even made it to gigs.

For me being comfortable at gigs with my tone is the top priority. It might not be a great tone by other people's standards, but if I'm constantly thinking i need to adjust this or that, i feel its not the right thing to own. The other night with the Fender was the first time in months i just plugged in, left most of the EQ on the amp at noon and just enjoyed the rehearsal. This to me says i have found the right combination......for now.

Potato bass. Thanks of the recommendation, but i cant see me ever spending that sort of money on a box of 'magic dust' 🙂

Funny I feel the complete oposit

    than you-

I allways think my amp whatewer it is sounds better with band, or on gig than at home(thoug 2DI4 does both perfect)I gues its the more wolume/heft wen im out)

it’s unposibol to say how an amp

will act live, wen you have had no Gig or Rehearsal with it

some amps can be monster at gig/rehearsal but not at home

& some great at home but thin

at the gig & ewerything inbetween exsist

for me the 2DI4 is perfect

    at home & at gig

    spending monny on Magic Dust?

I rather spend á Good deal of monney on gear twice the price

Witch is thougt thru and with good

components, than spend the same amount of monney on twice as mutch gear.(from china?)

It’s simple & more rewarding in the

long run.-(you will love your gear)

    (just my opinon)
