Rarely available 2021 UK limited edition from Fender Japan. As it's a Ltd Ed it is relatively rare and has features not often found on other Fenders.
Think Duff. Bargain price IMO.
Sherwood Green Metallic 8lb 10 oz.
Unusual 12 inch radius Rosewood fretboard, satin maple neck, microtilt.
TBX pot has been removed & standard tone pot now fitted. Much better imo.
Apologies for photos, I'm old and not tech.
1 tiny lacquer crack next to neck, 1 tiny dimple on top chamfer, both circled in yellow on photos. Anything else is reflections.
Thinnest worst Fender "gigbag" ever.
Collection from Darlington, however I may meet up within about 50 miles if buyer has good feedback.
COURIER! UK ONLY, buyer to organise & pay for it.
Other feedback also available.
Thanks for looking,
I can not be 100% though I have the impression, that this Bass will sell quickly if you post some closeups of the fretboard, the bass pictured in the vid-link. looks like crap, while your's fretboard looks like ??? could be very cool ? but hard to tell 100% by these pic's, (Lovely Bass, would like to see some good clear pic's of that board

Great cabs not being used at the minute as I’ve just been running an anagram and in ears so no use for what I think is a belting rig (this and a th500). They’re in good condition with just a few marks here and there. Includes a cover for each.
I’ll be looking to get a cheap amp/cab for emergencies as I'm selling my amp head too so willing to do a deal if someone has a cheaper rig they’d like to part ex.
any questions fire away.
Maybe you could write down som spec's ?/ I would love this pair, but i'm in the EU. money is a'bit low atm., it's ridiculous this set, still around ?, , have you played Fretless on these Beauties ? Amazing CABS & Colour

This could be a long story... http://basschat.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/%3C#EMO_DIR%23%3E/blush.png
I started with a G2 Compact, then sold it and bought a Vintage, just because it was big and available! That was an awesome cab, but the rehearsal space my (then) band were using had some awful, twisty, narrow stairs and I just couldn't be arsed humping the cab in and out of that room. Also, we weren't gigging all that often. I traded the Vintage for another G2 Compact.
A few months later, an original Big One became available. I'd always wanted to try one of those (partly so that I could tell people that I had a Big One... http://basschat.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/%3C#EMO_DIR%23%3E/rolleyes.gif ) and wasn't disappointed. HUGE sounding, yet still a fairly small box and light as a feather. Worked great with my Hartke LH500, but then I started to use J basses most of the time and I felt I needed an amp with more control over the mids... then followed a period of about six months when I tried lots of different amps (story here) but found all of them wanting in some way. Several (especially the Aguilar TH500 - story here) were incompatible with the Big One - so one (or both) had to go! Initially it was the Aggie that departed, to be traded for a GK MB800, but the stupid controls were just too close together! That was sold and I bought my current amp, which is a Mark Bass LM2. I'm dead happy with that!
I sold the Big One, and purchased a pair of Bergantino HS210s - mainly because I had listened to all the BF haters who claimed that Bergs were "the best". Well, they weren't for me. They sounded OK, to be fair, but after years of BF usage, their relative heaviness was just not necessary - so off they went.
Next up was my (current) G2 Compact - the third such cab I have owned! It is just brilliant, and does everything I want it to do. From time to time, I still get bursts of GAS* but once I heard another BC member (wateroftyne) playing through my rig, I understood how great it sounded when used by a real bass player! http://basschat.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/%3C#EMO_DIR%23%3E/cool.png So whenever I don't feel quite happy about my own sound, I just recall how it will sound to an audience.
* The last cab I bought was a TKS H115. I still have it. It is great. Just as good as the Compact for me. I rarely need both cabs, but it is wonderful having them just in case! They sound kind of similar, but the TKS is slightly "cleaner" and has the dubious benefit of a tweeter. It is slightly larger and heavier, but still an easy lift. It also looks the business http://basschat.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/%3C#EMO_DIR%23%3E/tongue.png
If I was really strapped for cash, one of them would have to go - but that would be a very tough choice... http://basschat.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/%3C#EMO_DIR%23%3E/sad.png
So, I have tried a lot of stuff over the last four years or so (some not mentioned here!) but I am happy to still be a Barefaced user! http://basschat.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/%3C#EMO_DIR%23%3E/man_in_love.gifTKS: H-15, for clear tone, and portability, and plenty loud. Really sweet, and paired up with a clean head, for projecting the Bass of choice, What a CAb !

Early era neck through Warwick's like this are unparalleled, they sound fantastic.
Looks like a crack in the body, on the third picture, just above the E-string close to the bridge, maybe just a scratch ?

Made in November 1988 with a Wenge wood neck with original Mother of Pearl inlays, Wenge fingerboard with bronze Frets & brass 'Just-a-Nut', three-piece solid Bublnga body, oil finish polished with Beeswax, active JJ EMG pickups and MEC 2-band preamp & black Schaller hardware.
Lovely bass for its age, with an unbelievably fast neck. All electronics working, and only damage we can see is two screw holes where a Thumb Rest has previously been added.
Price is £2400.
This bass can be viewed (or played) by appointment at either Ashton-under-Lyne in the Manchester area, or in Derbyshire, 10 mins from M1 J25.
Buyer to collect, or can meet half way up to 100 miles distance. (200 miles total distance.)
Interesting trades considered - PM me pictures of any trades you may want to make towards this instrument.

It's only geography that's stopping me.
TKS is King CAB's, just enjoyed mine, way better than many top brands, if you like a very clear sound, (it's easy to make a clear cab sound less clear, but not the other way around) My TKS cab is clear as a bell, and makes it pretty flexy, what you put in you get out, choice of bass/ tecniq/ playing, amp, love to have this pair, looks crazy inzanely good

Who ever get this pair of creamy speakers, will be rewarded with a clear & tight sound, is my guess ? (I have a different model TKS. not much comes close to the quality of the sound, when paired with a top of choice, very very clear & tight)

Your line of questioning was a bit odd and if you read any of my posts elsewhere you'll see I frequently use the word 'subjective' when making comparisons, simply because I know what may appeal to me would be abhorrent to others.
Simply because I say the Bongo was fantastic (it ticked so many boxes), I shouldn't need to have to justify that to you by providing a list of instruments by way of validation.
Sorry for insulting you, that was not my intend ,I hope you accept my apologies (i haven't read any other post's from you other that the debate here about 5

Mr Potato,
If you're after a list of my top 5 of everything I've owned;
MusicMan Bongo 5HH (gone)
Mike Lull JAXT4 (still here)
Hamer Cruisebass (still here)
Spector Euro-X (still here)
Gibson Thunderbird (Ivory) (gone)
I could likely list you another 20 basses that I'm either still in ownership of OR have sold on to fund purchases, if that lights your candle. Just because they're gone doesn't mean they weren't - for me at least - sterling instruments.
Search hard enough on this site and you'll find documented proof of most of my kit, past and present.
It's so different what players think is a good bass and, sometimes a cheap bass can be a good bass for individuals, same with more pricy basses, for me a good 5 can be real hard to find do to the B-string is a challenge for a lot of builders, but standard is getting better with time, for me the best cheap 5 would be a Skyline of any kind since they are pretty high in standards (for my taste) I was just curious that someone that had loads of axses would rate a bongo that high since I would not according to the ones I tried, setup means everything some Luithers are magicians some not, if you want a cheap 5 and lets say it have to be a Sire Marcus Miller just make sure that you can try a "Truckload" of them there will be a good chance that one in the bounce will speak to you

Like many in these parts, it might be quicker to list the stuff I didn't have at one point.
maybe you can list 5 that you had that was "Cream of the Crop" of your bass load ?
