Well damn, a taste of their own medicine

If you are referring to their disgusting shenanigans a few years back, staff arriving for work with the shops locked up, jobs lost over night, but as usual the big boys get off scot free........

    Deep breath.....

Then I am in complete agreement with you Mr Bunion     Well said !!

  2. A typical run of the mill Precision bass pickup is by design "humbucking".

Could well be wrong ( sure somebody will chip in if so) but I don't think there would be any advantage gained by stacking the coils.

If the pickup is already humbucking what would be the point?

This explains the Pbass pickup design

Sorry can't help with identifying that particular pickup.

  3. Every year at least I refurbish an oak grave marker. For the last two years I've weighed it on some accurate digital scales and leave it on top of a radiator.

Then I take a daily note of the weight.

When the weight stays the same for a few days I then sand and treat it with tung oil.

I found this takes the guesswork out of knowing if it is time to start sanding.

Don't know if this is helps or how you could weigh a big piece of birch, but good luck with it .

It is astonishing how much water will be lost in a week or so
