Oh damn, I was making a joke (albeit a rubbishy one), I didn't realise it really was! Doh!

I just wanted to set one up this way on is all, don't know any bassists in the area, and as I said am lacking in friends. XD

  3. Hi folks been thinking of sorting a get together for 2014 in Burton/Derby/Nottingham, I'd like to make bass playing chums as I know nobody with the same passion as me and am really lacking in friends. "The friendly type" anyway. This of interest to anyone?

Interesting, first time I've put a bass up and had no pm's in the first day :scratch_one-s_head: .
Still, it's a Sadowsky, it's a lot of money and it's a fund raiser. Perhaps the Custom Shop 60 RI jazz is not meant to be.

It's seeming people aren't buying basses as much these past few months, still wouldn't question giving a limb for that Sadowsky, mind you I already owe one for my Fodera XD *jokes but silently dies a little inside. As you said to me my friend, only a matter of time, someone is bound to take an interest. You played an NYC before?

Interesting topic. I know nothing about Fodera, so i am learning a lot from this about basses. I would love to have £3500 to spend on a bass.By the souind of it, you have got a good instrument for the money Glad you are happy with it, it looks nice

Thanks mate! Yup very proud. I noticed on YouTube there's not actually too many decent demos of them, apart from one by Bassclubchicago, so I may put a demo up at some point :)

Well then keep it if its a keeper, play the s**t out of it and if you decide to sell down the road you will get what its worth, pure and simple. We all know Foderas hold their value, as they are highly desirable and yours will be no different, provided you forget about re routing the p pick up cavity. Going down that road will definitely be a game changer.

Yeah definitely it's not that I can't get on with it, it's just in general it wouldn't be my first choice to have in the neck position if that makes sense? It's extremely versatile though literally this thing will sound great in absolutely anything. Don't think any less of me but yesterday I was giving it the "Metallica test" which few basses pass for me. But EMG's + Fodera = match made in heaven.
