  1. I went to one wedding a while ago where the first dance was "Highway to Hell". I'm due to get married next year and my girlfriend suggested "Welcome to Hell" by Plan B as our first dance.
  2. Dan bought a preamp off me. A great guy to deal with, very quick with every aspect of the sale and great communication. It's been a pleasure.
  3. Large effects pedal board for sale due to a rationalising of gigging pedals. Due to the large size - 86cm x 54cm - am looking for pick up only from Lincoln area. Will be happy to meet up at a convenient location if that helps, but not hundreds of miles away. There are some missing bits in the foam on the lid but it's very secure and very sturdy. Has carpeted area for pedals. [attachment=193251:20150531_1618231.jpg]
  4. A while ago I upgraded a Spector Legends preamp to an Aguilar. This has left me with a Tone Pump Jr and the control knobs. Looking for £25 including delivery to the UK. [attachment=193250:20150530_133402.jpg]
  5. I've got a pair of ADX6 pickups which came out of an Ibanez 1306. They're in good working order and might suit an upgrade to an existing 6 string or a custom build project. £15 to include delivery to UK. [attachment=193249:20150530_133933.jpg]
  6. When clearing out, found a Warwick Just a Nut which I bought for a Corvette 5 string and obviously never used, and as I don't now have a Warwick it's not a lot of use to me. £10 including delivery to UK. [attachment=193247:20150530_133647.jpg]
  7. I bought a bass off here a while back and had a preamp that I wanted to fit, so I have the previous Zolkow on board preamp sat around not doing anything. I'm afraid I can't say much about it as I don't know a lot about it at all. It worked well enough when it came in the other bass but I already knew I was going to be changing it. From the read ups I've seen online they certainly get good write ups. £25 to include delivery to the UK. [attachment=193246:20150530_133515.jpg]
  8. Having a bit of a clear out so am putting a couple of pedals up for sale. Looking at £5 postage. 9. It's going to be a great night. [attachment=190358:ContrabandTnT.jpg]
  10. I'll have a proper measure and weigh when I'm back home, although I have just found one website that states it as: Dimensions: 671x610x420 mm/26.4x24x16.5 inches (HWD) Weight: 35 kg/77 lbs I see you're very local so if you wanted to come over and have a look/play please feel free or I can pop to you if you that helps.
  11. Up for sale is my Ashdown ABM 212 as I've got myself some new cabs to run with. It's got some scratches on the surface of the cab but it doesn't affect the sound. Also as it's seriously sturdy and well put together the scratches don't weaken the cab in any way. I'll say pick up only at the moment as it's not the lightest of things - I'm near Lincoln but would be happy to have a drive out to meet (as long as it's not too far to go). Any questions, please ask away.
  12. .....since Black Sabbath was released. And tonight at Chameleons in Grantham, Lincs Black Sabbatical will be playing a musical tribute to Black Sabbath. The evening will be starting just after 9pm with Black Sabbatical opening and they are followed by Wytchfynde for a night of metal on Friday 13th.
  13. Back to the top with a bumpity bump. I have found an Ultimate Gig bag which I'm happy to include with this (I'll make sure the bass is put inside it so that it's nice and safe) - and I've also found a bass sized cardboard box so I'm happy to include couriering as well if required now that I'm happy it should be well protected.
  14. I've had a realisation that I've got more gear than I'm actually using so I am looking to sell my Spector Legend 6. It's a blonde spalted top, very nice to play, it's never been gigged and to be honest it hasn't been used much at all - I bought an Ibanez 6 only a few months after buying the Spector and I haven't gone back to the Spector at all. It's not quite as new, in fact in my opinion it's better than new because it's had some modifications. I've had the pre-amp changed to an Aguilar OBP-3 and the cavity has been fully shielded at the same time as the pre-amp was changed (when I first got it, it was picking up mobile signals - I spoke to a luthier at Spector USA who sent through some copper sheeting to do the job). It's also got Dunlop straplocks fitted to it. All the work has been done by Jon Shuker who is an awesome bass luthier - you'll see plenty of stuff about Jon on this site (he also checked the setup and put a new set of strings on that have hardly been touched - they might have had a few hours use at a push). Like I say it's a lovely sounding bass which is great to play, but I've found that I get on so much better with the 34" scale of the Ibanez's so my Spector is just sat with nothing to do. I'm near Lincoln and would prefer collection although I can meet up somewhere if it's not a massive distance. I can look into posting if requested but I've not got a hard case with it so would obviously be wary of couriers. I'm asking for £550 which seems like a great deal for a standard Legend 6 which are retailing over the £700, but with the upgraded preamp, shielding etc........... 15. I've just received a stunning Ibanez 5006 from Fred. It was a fantastic experience, everything went really smoothly, it was sent quickly well packaged up, communication was spot on and as an added bonus, Fred is a really nice person. Please deal with him in complete confidence. Thanks again for a great bass Fred.
