1.
They must be expensive, that poor man can't afford shoes.
That poor man spent all his money on China White :) Which is probably why he smashed that beautiful specimen up at the end of the Theatre of Pain tour... fool.

  2. Bought a Flying V bass from Matt (well his sister)
Excellent condition, well packed, couldn't have been better! Only issues being with Parcelforce (beyond Matt's control) but when it got despatched it arrived ahead of time.
Top bloke, definitely deal with him again.
    Cheers dude

  3.
I'll be there.... of course!

Got tickets for Manchester, Birmingham & Wembley Arena.... it's gonna be GREAT!!!! :)
Awesome stuff my friend! I'm gonna be like a child at Christmas... in Gene makeup of course.

  4. Managed to get a lovely rackmounted Zoom multi-effects with a valve in it for next to nothing. There's a decent overdrive on there so I'll be playing around with that :) Was cheaper than your average pedal too!

  5. They were like a totally different band in the 80's, I'm not much of a fan of much 'Post-Ace' stuff (apart from Sonic Boom - an excellent return to form). I really wish I could see the original lineup, or with Ace at least. Tommy Thayer seems to be trying his hardest to emulate Ace, they've even got him singing 'Shock Me' now. I'm really not into him ... should've given him a new character... I'll get off my soap box now.

  6. I got mine from Seetickets - Birmingham, Standing. It's a serious lifelong ambition to see them live, I can't wait... I've already got practically everyone I'm going with agreeing to put the makeup on :)

  7.
Let us know how you get on and what kinda sounds you can coax from the rack - gnarly distorted bass tones etc?!
I certainly shall, I'm looking for a nice growl not overly heavy. I'm gonna be running it through one side of my bi-amp which will sound siiiick.

  8. Oh it was cheap as chips, I've not got my hands on it yet as it's being held hostage until Christmas since the parents paid for it. Like I said I'm only really using it to give my head a bit of dirt, it's been upgraded with a Mesa Boogie valve. Am I right in saying I can hook it up through the effects loop despite it having a valve pre-amp?
The dropout isn't gonna be a problem cos I'll be using one effect all night :)
