    Just to clarify, I do play in a very loud band. However, one is more than adequate for rehearsals and probably most pub gigs. The band also plays clubs and functions without FOH support for the bass and guitar ( Axe FX +RCF312 x2) in which the BB's produce a fantastic sound . Why do i always use two? Cause i can and its great to hear the drummer complaining that he can't hear his kit .

    Everybody has different requirements and expectations , Alex is the best person for advice .

    Second hand ? Yep, very quick and very lucky .

    Couple of Overwater 5's, the green one also has a stunning birdseye maple fretted neck.

    I've been using a pair of big babies for the last eighteen months with fantastic results. Every type of venue from pubs and weddings to big clubs even without FOH support . On the odd occasion i need to adjust the Eq its only to roll off the low bass on hollow stages other than that its plug in and play . I use a wireless and the bass does sound the same every ware , high definition and very accurate until i make a mistake . :rolleyes:

    [size=3][color=#000000][font=Calibri]Increasing numbers of Barefaced cabs up in the Toon, can only be good news! I've had my pair of big babies for eighteen months, 75+ gigs, extremely happy. Venues from small pubs,functions to big clubs even without FOH support,super accurate sound everytime with minimum fuss. Would be interested in hearing your set up Jack , when it arrives.( Also yours Conan. ) If you or anybody else up here wants to listen to the big babies live follow the link(without sounding like a plug for the band!!) or just PM....
