  1. A very rare Overwater Fusion 6 string fretless . I've owned this bass since the mid nineties and am the second owner. The bass is in fantastic condition with only light use from the occasional gig in the distant past.

It has a 36" scale with 18mm spacing and a shallow neck profile. With the offset body design the bass balances extremely well making it surprisingly comfortable and easy to play, considering its size !

It has a small linear dint just above the battery cover which you can see in the photo's , otherwise A1 condition . Flamed ash over walnut with ebony board , Chris's favorite classic fretless combination giving a awesome tone.

Looking for a straight sale please.

    price drop £660

  2. They work well together but I'll know more once I start playing again . The mp3 and headphones are really useful , built in tuner/mute switch would be the icing on the cake .
I had been using a cheaper lead and lighter strings but switching to my normal gauge plus evidence audio cable did make a massive improvement .
Certainty reiterates the point of using top class instruments and amps and using mediocre leads .

  3. I'm really pleased with it so far . I haven't had a chance to use it with a band yet but that should be rectified next week ( been busy at work ).

Sound wise , its great flat with a slight upper mid boost quite similar to a MB F1 and with the taste control slightly to the right ( rich) it produces a lovely deep tone yet still retains all the detail.
It does seem to have a steep high pass filter reducing extreme lows , not necessarily a bad thing .Its also extremely fast like most class d amps.

Yes its certainly powerful , not in the same league as my TC Blacksmith , but as a back up that fits in my gig bag its brilliant.

I bought a GB shuttlemax 9.2 earlier this year and sold it quickly , i know everybody rates these highly but not my cup of tea.
I also owned an EBS 660 , great amp but the puma is a fraction of the size with more power , similar quality tone . Half the price new !!

Owned various rigs over the years , Trace ,Eden ampeg pro4 ,MB FI, LMII,Ashdown ( caught fire after half an hour ).
The Puma will definitely be staying along with the Blacksmith not to mention my gen.2 Barefaced big babies. ( probably order a gen 3 big twin soon )

    Hope thats useful,

    Roger.

  4. Only a couple of months old and all the original packaging.Brilliant small amp and loud enough for most needs .
I'm sure you've all read the reviews .
Looking for a quick sale at £195.

  5. Very good condition ,hand made in USA and at a extremely good price . Case, speaker leads ( high quality banana plugs to speakon ) and mains lead included. I'll even throw in an alternative valve .
The amp is all original with low usage , probably a few gigs and rehearsals plus some home use . Bought new from Overwater and i'm the only person thats ever used it .

Collected in either Newcastle or Edinburgh or will post at buyers expense .

Priced to sell quickly hence no trades .

    Cheers

  6. I'm sure everyone knows how good these amps are and this ones hardly been used . I bought it off here earlier this year ( Lowregisterhead ) and planned to use it as a back up. However, due to lack of a gigging band i cant justify keeping it. It comes with a Gator soft rack case and can be collected in Edinburgh or Newcastle , will ship at buyers expense . Any questions please ask , I'll try and get some photos up over the weekend.

    Just spotted another one......

Has anyone tried the Dean Markley Helix strings?

    [/quote]

Just had a couple sets delivered and should have them on by early next week .
I've been using the blue steels for a few years now ,fantastic tone and top end . The sr2000 are equally impressive, exposed core piano style .
