  1. I've owned a Rumour 5 and serial 001 original Nightingale 5 (the first Rumour body shaped bass built by Bernie), and I regretted parting with both all those years back, but such is life! Just wish I had some pics of them still! If I had the cash now, I'd have already bought this, sadly I am just not in a position to get this! Guess I'll have to try sell some hifi gear of something? Will be watching this one! I'd say good luck with the sale, but I want it too much! ;)

Always regretted selling my Sei Jazz and this looks great. Can you get a low action on this? Video ir sound files available at all? Thanks.

It is a pretty low action. I don't like high actions. I will try and get some pics of the action. Unable to do video or sound at the moment.

  3. Strymon Orbit Flanger pedal - Probably the best sounding Flanger I have heard, even more so when used in stereo. Good condition with just a few very minor signs of usage. No box, psu or manual. Just the pedal as it is pictured.

Postage £5 or pickup from Sheffield.

    Cheers

  4. T-Rex Chameleon Fuel Tank Pedal Power supply unit in excellent condition. Was only used on a home studio board, so never gigged etc. Includes some power cables for pedals too and the original box. Most outputs can be configured for 9v or 12vdc another can run 9v or 18 vdc and one can run 12vac. Each output is individually isolated, so if you have any pedals that are particularly sensitive when sharing power, then this should solve it (assuming its a power related issue). 300ma per output at 9v.

£5 postage or collection from Sheffield

That's what I thought. Vol, blend and stacked bass/treble. Really need mids too.

    Thanks

No Problem. Obviously, you could always fit another pre to it, but I've not found it lacking at all without the mid control. I guess it depends what kind of sounds you are wanting to be able to get, and what you expect out of a J type bass?

Hi. Nice bass and light for a five string Overwater. Which John East pre amp is it? Has it got a mid sweep?

Cheers, yer, it is a nice bass, but just not me... The East Pre I think is Bass/Treble stacked nob, with a 'bright' push/pull too. Don't know which model pre this is though? I will have to pull it out and have another look to confirm? Haven't had it out for a while.

  7. Selling this Sadowsky on board preamp. Came out of another bass recently, and all was working fine at that time. It will require another pot or two to complete the setup, depending on your requirements from it, and a battery lead too. I do not have the wiring diagram on paper, but found a pic of one online which I have attached to this post. Has a push/pull active/passive pot, and a stacked bass/treble.

Based in Sheffield, though can post for £5 (2nd class Signed for) if required.

    Cheers

  8. Thanks for the info. I had a Shuker pre put in it recently, as its a pre I know and trust from my, er, Shukers. Wasn't a Shack in there beforehand, though, but rather a Sadowsky... Obviously that could have been replaced at any point along the way? Its one of those basses that will be sorely missed, but life etc... You know the drill!
