The bass is not in top condition with several dings and scratches that I've tried to photograph although it is not easy due to the highly reflective finish! It looks like it wasn't very well cared for by a previous owner, who has also relocated the rear strap button a couple of times, although this has made the bass balance very nicely. I have gigged this several times and it plays very nicely and sounds huge.

I would like £100 posted although would much prefer a buyer to collect or meet half way to see the full extent of the damage.

    Please PM with any questions.

  2. Here are 2 pbass bodies that I have acquired over time for projects that are just never going to happen!

    1) Originally from a Squier Affinity, this is in below average condition with a couple of large chunks of paint missing and several dings on the edges. Will come with the bridge, strap pins and neckplate and screws. £30 posted.

    2) Creamy/White from unknown origin but is hardwood. This is in good condition with one major ding that has cracked the paint on the rear belly contour and a few other marks that are difficult to photograph. There is also some paint missing from around the neck pocket. The pocket itself seems to be Fender size. The pickup and control cavities have also been covered in copper tape however this isn't the neatest job! Included is strap pins and a neckplate and screws. £30 posted.

  3. 1984 Nagoya Japan BC Rich Eagle bass in what I believe was a deep pink/purple that has now got lighter as it has aged. It has all original hardware including a nice chunky bridge, hot, punchy precision pickup and BC Rich branded Gotoh style tuners.

It is not in pristine condition with a few marks, most noticeably where the paint has rubbed where your forearm would rest. The neck is similar to a precision in size but is very easy to play on and the bass is also incredibly light meaning there is little discomfort on long playing sessions.

There is however, one important bit of information to note, I will quote its previous owner Gust0o from this forum:

"THIS BIT IS IMPORTANT. FOCUS, PEOPLE. Shockwave previously imported this bass from the States, care of a rather heavy handed courier and from a chap who know little about packing, with a resultant neck break in transit. Rob had this professional repaired, including the finish on the painted neck. It makes it very hard for me to take shots (being under paint, and so on) but I want people to be aware."

I concur that it is almost impossible to see the difference in paint colour and it was also commented that the repair job had probably made the neck stronger than ever!

As a result of these couple of issues I am very reluctant to ship, so would rather somebody came to inspect and collect or meet up nearby.

I would be looking for £185 for this cracking bass.

Here are some pics and more, particularly of the various dings, can be found in the following link:
