1. First up is a maple fretboard neck from a Westfield Precision. I had this on a Fender body and regularly gigged it without any problems. Although this is a budget neck I found it very comfortable with the expected chunkiness of a P-bass neck. The logo has been roughly removed although there is still some evidence of it being there. Secondly the heel has two sets of holes, one from where it was on the original Westfield body and the others from the aforementioned Fender body.

Would like £30 posted for this. *SOLD*

Secondly, I have a MIM Precision neck that has been defretted and refilled by its previous owner. This looks like a bit of a DIY effort although the end results are not too bad and it is definitely usable and would probably provide a good introduction to somebody who'd like to try a fretless without a huge outlay. It will also need a new nut.

Would also like £35 posted for this *SOLD*

    Please PM with any questions.

  2. This is left over from one of many projects that have never been finished. In good condition, the only negatives being that the wires are a little bit shorter than originally and I no longer have the original box or packaging. These are highly regarded and sound great, I just no longer have a bass for them!

  3. I bought one a couple of months ago from eBay when the warehouse in Milton Keynes were knocking them out for £200. I figured for £200 it was worth a pop but wasn't overly expectant on getting a great sound.

Fortunately I have been very pleasantly surprised as I think it sounds great, although the bottom end definitely needs taming. The band absolutely love I too and much prefer my tone over the EBS Proline 410 it replaced.

I must admit it is insanely heavy though, but I am lucky to have a rehearsal space where it can be left in place. Another drawback for some could be the fact that the tweeter can only be set to On or Off, but again I've not found this a problem.

  4. Up for sale is my Orange AD200B. It is a 200W all valve amp head that I have owned for just under two years after purchasing it from these forums from Jigster. It is in very good condition with a couple of marks to the tolex on the top of the head but no rips or tears.

When I purchased it from Jigster I had it serviced and re-valved and I have since had the output vales (4 x EH 6550s) replaced in November after one failed on me. This amp has not been heavily gigged since I've owned it, as regrettably I've not played as much as I'd like to, and has since been replaced with something more to my current needs. That being said it is an excellent amp and sounds just as a valve amp should with a lovely warmth to it with the ability to dirty the signal if needed.

    The specs are as follows:

200W Output at 4/8 Ohm

Controls: Master Volume, Treble, Mid, Bass, Gain

Active/Passive Inputs

Preamp Valves: 2 x ECC83, 1 x ECC81/12AT7

Output Valves: 4 x 6550/KT88

Slave Out

26kg/56lb
Comes complete with a padded cover by Hot Covers.

I am looking for £800 collected from Lincoln or I may be willing to meet up depending on distance.

  6. I've just managed to pick up a near identical backup to my main bass so am looking to shift on this Peavey Grind 6 string.

24 Frets

35 Inch scale

2 x Volume/2 x Tone Controls

Passive Humbucking Pickups

2 x truss rods

Through body stringing

52mm at the nut
I haven't had it that long so cannot truthfully comment too much on it but it seems very playable and I wouldn't hesitate in gigging with it had I not just bought a different 6er. The bass is in good overall condition apart from a dink on the fretboard at the 9th fret which doesn't seem to affect its playability. Recently strung up with Overwater strings.

I am looking for £200 delivered including a soft case

  7. Excellent 4x10 cab that I've used with great success over the past couple of years but have decided to move it on as I've recently picked up another cab.

It is the 4Ohm model with a power handling of 800W RMS with a sensitivity of 103db so is a seriously loud cab. It is in good condition apart from a scuff to the EBS logo and a small bit if carpet that's ripped on the top, both of which I have tried to photograph.

I am looking for £315 collected from Lincoln but may be willing to meet up/deliver within reason for some extra money.

what's the neck dive like John?...sorry, JON :)
There is a small bit of movement but nothing overly bad, certainly not as bad as some Thunderbirds I've had in the past! Also as its so lightweight I doubt you would notice it.
