  1. pricedrop! 1450 Euro (= 1140 GBP) or fair offer!
  2. Thanks guy's, I just went to a store where I was able to play the Aggie as well as a heritage SVT Classic and compare it with my fafner II. I must say that I fell for the Aggie! The difference in sound with my fafner was big enough to make me change my set-up! The SVT did sound very nice too but I found the Aggie was a bit warmer and smoother and it was nicer (softer...cant find the right words) in the higher frequenties! That together with the weight made me decide to go for the Aggie! So if anyone is interested, my Fafner II is now in the "for sale" section! :-)
  3. For Sale: EBS Fafner II - Extreme Edition Dual Channel, 750 W RMS Armed Tube Bass Head. This amp is like new and has always been in a rack case! I would like to get € 1450 (= 1140 GBP) for the amp or fair offer. The optional "EBS RM-4 footswitch control" is included! The amp is in perfect condition, I sell this only because I need a different (vintage) sound! Therefore the only possible trade is a trade with an Aguilar DB751 or 750 (or maybe a Ampeg SVT Classic USA) Specs : Input Impedance 2 Mohms Frequency Response 20 - 20.000 Hz Hi and Lo Preshape EQ, Individual and Common Effect Loops, Soft Switch
Remotes for Drive, Mute, Filter and
Character Preshape EQs, Dual Balanced Outputs Speaker impedance 2 - 8 ohms Continuous Output Power 750 W RMS @ 2 ohms, >600 W RMS @ 4 ohms Dimensions (W x D x H) 19" x 14" x 3U (48cm x 36cm x 13cm) Weight 16 kg / 36 lbs
  4. Hi, I am thinking about replacing my EBS Fafner 2 With a Aggie DB 751 or a Ampeg SVT Classic. It is not that my Fafner2 doesn't sound good but most of the time I play a CCR-tribute repertoire and I use my '68 Precision to do so. Don't get me wrong, The fafner2 is a fantastic amp and it has so (read "to") much possibility's in it but I only use it flat for my sound. I think overall it is sounding a little to "modern" for my needs. I see Stu Cook himself is playing the Aguilar. That means something. I never played an Aguilar DB or a SVT Classic so if anyone could help me with they're experiences with both or either of these amps and differences it would be very helpfull for me. For cabs I use a Hevos Powerset (it's a dutch company). They are lite and the sound is just fantastic, even at (very) high volumes! very powerfull and warm! So I'm keeping these! Any feedback or input is welcome! Thx, Dirk
  5. You're right Bram and Geert! I will regret selling this bass! My Rick 4003 will have to do the job together with the Precision! I'll withdraw this auction and keep my bass! Thanks for making me thinking this over! :-)
  6. Tradewise I'm looking for a Rickenbacker 4001C64 or 4001V63 in fireglo + cash!
  7. Hi, I'm thinking about selling my '68 precision. It is all original. It's sunburst and has the old style decal and oval tuners! Ser.No. 247XXX It's the bass that Boaz Kroon used with Anouk @ the Gelredome Comes with non-Fender hard case! Looking for £3000
  8. Hi, I would like to see if there is somebody interested to trade his Vintage 4001 or his 4003 Rickenbacker for my 2009 Fender Custom Shop '64 relic Jazz bass in red with matching Headstock, in original CS case and with certificat. I prefer a Rickenbacker in fireglo but every offer is welcome! Thanks for looking, Dirk
  9. Still looking for the right trade or buyer!
