Those who are talking about the strings, you don't get them until month 5 so that sounds about right. Not about to send strings out until you've at least covered the cost of them!
Any links to any articles? Can usually spot AI articles a mile off.
Few article segments here:
TBH, the Jaco 'Artist Spotlight' doesn't really say much more than this...

This won't help anyone but after reading the first issue I decided to not get any more
Got to say, same here. I'm happy to see how things play out and get back into it in due course, but the same issues seem to be happening across the board.

Curious to other’s thoughts on this. Have read the first edition and it felt like it may have been mostly AI generated? Seemed to repeat itself a lot and not really cover any new ground.
It’s only just started, so don’t want to judge too harshly!

Going up on eBay this evening, so last chance to jump in before it (hopefully) goes elsewhere!

As soon as you want a third HX effect, you'll have to buy another HX One. There's a send-return loop on the HX Stomp if you want your set of pedals in the middle of the Stomp stuff.
Interesting. Requires some different routing, but could work well.
-
So, hear me out...
The HX Stomp is quite tempting, but with a set of go-to pedals already it's difficult to figure out where it would sit with them. Pondering the alternative of two HX Ones at different points in the chain... It's a bit more space taken up, but easy to plan in different effects combos, and easier to power!
Costs work out much the same, so it's more a case of how much space it takes up. No need for amp Sims, so am I missing anything with this?

The Akai Headrush covers delay and tape delay effects, but is also a great (if simple) looper. Good condition (small wear spot on left hand side), velcro on bottom. Fully operational.
£140 including UK postage.

Electro Harmonix Superego sustainer pedal. Many options for freezing a note and adding additional effects via the built-in loop. Excellent pedal, just not getting any use right now.
Very good, fully working condition. Velcro on back, and just a hint of residue from a previous label on the front. This hasn’t damaged any of the finish though.

Can vouch for these as an excellent OC-2 clone!

Giving this a trial run:
Edition 1 just coming out. Looks like it’s covering a lot of old ground, but got to start somewhere I suppose…

My preamp-DI of choice is the Aguilar Tone Hammer, but their AG preamp pedal looks good too. Have used the EBS and it doe the job really well. Sansamp VT or Bass Driver are great, but do have a very specific tone. Happens to be one that most people like though… The Sadowsky SBP is great for super-clean bass, but very limited options.
-
There’s octave down going on there. If using the pedals listed above, I would guess either the OC-2 with octave down isolated, OR the EHX Micro Synth on a low octave. There’s a bit of grit too, so potentially the MS again, or one of the fuzzes with a lowish gain setting.

Do your toppers have a black plastic insert?
If so, put the insert on first and then the topper on top of that.
I coildnt get mkne to fit, but that worked.
I did also just buy some of those barefoot buttons and they are pricey!
No, not adjustable at all. I’ll have a look into the options though. Only need two, so not too bad.

No, but I think the footswitch size is prett y common. Isn’t there a company called barefoot or something that does toppers.
Alternatively, time for MIDI control!
Checked out the Barefoot toppers. Pricey, but I've had a good run recently over in the marketplace forum, so can probably splash out!

Has anyone fitted footswitch toppers to their Future Impact? I’ve got mine set back on the board, and these would help with avoiding knocking other switches on the way over…
I’ve got some of the coloured Mooer toppers, but they are too small to fit on.

Update - Used some electrical switch cleaner this morning, which has helped the octave switch work a little better. Still glitching out occasionally, but less than before. May need a deeper clean / more TLC.
