That’s a shame as the software is fairly easy to use now, much easier than previous versions.
Also, loads you can do just on the pedal itself.
Yeah, I’ve fiddled a bit with the settings on the pedal (nothing saved), but would need to reorder patches considerably for what I need. Have sat and stared at it for about a month now… I’m not a computer guy!
Have to concede the new MXR synth looks far more my thing despite some more limitations!

Brand new Future Impact V4 VIP fresh out the box and only played with at home. Sounds and works amazingly well, but just can’t get myself round to sorting out the computer software to make the most of it.
Bit of a wait for these, so grab a slightly quicker bargain! £280 including uk postage (ONO)

Am I right in assuming this also works as as a standard CD player?
Yes, will function as a standard CD player. You can check out the manual for all it does here: https://www.tascam.eu/en/docs/CD-BT2_Manual.pdf

Any VIPs out in the wild yet? Would love to hear some real world feedback regarding that potentially dodgy right switch/pot placement, as even raised I still feel like it wouldn't last a week of my gig stomping! 😅
Just had one arrive today. The aim is to have this in a loop, so it won't be an issue, but can say in a quick play-around to test it I've changed the bank (the push function of this pot) every time I've turned the unit on or off...
EDIT: Just saw the post below. This will help a lot with this issue. As I've only just unboxed I haven't had a chance to update the firmware yet.

It fixes a bug with MIDI thru where PC messages on other channels other than the FI4’s own weren’t being forwarded.
It also adds a feature which is mainly for the VIP version - it suppresses the EDIT dial’s function when the on/off footswitch is pressed, thus preventing accidental bank changes when engaging/disengaging the pedal.
I’ve uploaded it to my google drive for now so users can access it there until it’s live on the panda site:

I hope not too many people turn up expecting the original event today… All others going to the reorganised stuff, have fun!

Reposted - Thought it may have regained a use, but the slot has been taken by another! Second chance!

Is there any way an external input can be used to speed/key adjust or would it require burning a CD of the track to play in the machine? I had a look on the Tascam site but no joy.
Cheers.
No, I don’t think so. There was an MP3 version as well, but I believe you still had to preload the tracks. Bit old-school tech I’m afraid!

Yeah email address turned off now - not going to give this up though, might visit their offices next time I am passing by.
Do it. If they’re going to be so belligerent towards suggestions that this was a scam then they need to prove otherwise….

Nicely done. Thankfully, I avoided booking the travel and accommodation, so sitting this one out, but hope all who are up there have a good time!

Lovely pedal. I'm almost sure the cracking can be sorted by applying some Specialist WD40 Contact Cleaner at the pot bases (NOT the regular kind of WD40 of course!). GLWTS!
Yep, it’s just old and dirty. Needs a little tlc, but sounds great for a variety of crunchy bass tones!

Very good quality audio interface, very light home use. Just much more tech than I can use. Details and spec here:
https://www.esi-audio.com/products/u86xt/Original box, power, cables and paperwork included. £180 collected. Quite a chunky parcel, so postage extra.

Mrstheelvy raised a good point when I mentioned this, namely that 'postponement' is not equal to 'cancellation', in name at least. So refunds may not be as automatic as would be liked...

I was willing to give this the benefit of the doubt and see what the reports were after it had taken place, but I do wonder how long this 'postponement' will be...

It seems the only announcement on this has been the website page. Nothing on their social media apart from all posts being removed from Instagram.
I'm still 50/50 on scam vs disfunctional shambles...

Not looking good there is it? I'm heading over to Brighton in a couple of weeks and was hoping to have a browse. The website's always been super useful for ordering a variety of bits and bobs.

Amazed this hasn’t shifted yet! I’d snap it up if I was considerably closer for a collection.

What's the neck stability like on these models? I always loved the look of them but had a bad early experience with a super-thin bass neck once which has always made me cautious!
-
Just curious with the battery - is it for active pickups or active preamp?

What’s the difference between the Crafted in Japan and Made in Japan instruments? Was it just a change in wording at some point, or is there a quality difference? Just curious as there’s one of these (in far worse condition) up for sale locally that’s under the MIJ tag.

Things are slowly looking less sketchy for this, but still could do with some better organising. Was amused when I caught the comment below on their post…
Also, any word on their venue changing again yet? They’ve been stating the CLS centre for a while, but at last check none of the rooms were booked for that date yet…

Apparently these are going for around £300 from some UK distributors. Ordering direct was apparently not the way to go! Ho-hum, bit lopped off to cater for this...
