2. Now at reduced price of £400 Up for sale is an early GMR bass hand-crafted in Poland in late '90s. This is true rarity since only a couple of NTB models were made in that period, and of course as a custom order it is in unique configuration. The NTB main block is made of wenge and mahogany with rosewood fretboard. The wings and the body top are from ovangkol wood with wax finish. As for the hardware it sports Schaller 3D bridge, Warwick (early "West Germany") tuners, brass saddle and Shaller straplock pins. Pickups are active EMG 40DC humbucker at the bridge plus LJ5 single coil at the neck. Controls are volume for each pickup and tone. Neck is straight with truss rod working as it should, frets have plenty of life left (minor signs of use). There are some scratches and small dents on the surface but nothing beyond regular wear. The weight of the guitar is about 3,9 kg (8,6 lb). It will be sent in a hard-soft case (padded Styrofoam interior with nylon canvas on the outside), shipping cost within EU would be GBP 35.

  8. Price or trade value: £500 Up for sale is a really special bass guitar. Some time ago I have purchased what seemed to be Fender Jazz Bass Plus with no S/N and no proper JB Plus logo on the headstock and with odd black pickguard installed. After taking off the neck I discovered that it was a Fender Custom Shop order. The neck, dated 26JUL1991, is made of one-piece flat-sawn maple and looks like something between Jazz and Precision type with width at nut of 1[sup]5[/sup]/[sub]8[/sub] “ (41,3 mm). It has oil finish and ebony Fretboard with only side-markers present. There are “Fender Custom Shop” and "Hector Montes" stamps on the heel, and also "40th Annv." and "Stu Hamm" notes in red ink. The body is made of ash and besides the pickguard - which was just lying on the top without being firmly attached - it is a regular JB Plus body with Kubicki pre-amp. In the neck slot there is "A. Murillo" stamp and "Stu Hamm" note in red ink. The only modifications I made was removing the pickguard (still have it) and installing a Hipshot D-tuner that makes the bass even more versatile. Everything indicates that it is most likely Stu Hamm's Fender Custom Shop order, maybe even his first signature model prototype (at least its long-scale attempt)? I have asked Fender Customer Service this question but since there is no S/N they were not able to help me identify the instrument. They also claimed that there is no record for Custom Shop orders made over 1991. I have also asked Mr Stu Hamm if he recognizes the bass but apparently he is too busy to answer – to date there was no feedback from his side. Anyways – it is surely a great sounding and looking guitar for your consideration. It comes along with used Tolex HSC in which I got the bass from the USA. It carries some dings and small scratches but generally it's in a very good shape. Here are the pics: Updated price is £500, shipping to UK will cost additional £30 Thanks for looking!
  9. Up for sale used HAMER Cruisebass made in USA (around 1980). It is in a very good condition showing only light signs of wear. Body and neck are made of mahogany, fingerboard is made of Pau Ferro (Bolivian Rosewood). There are no cracks or concealed damages, frets are in a very good shape. It is pasive with BARTOLINI P+J pickups, hardware is chrome M4 Shaller tuners and 3D Shaller bridge. It comes with original branded case which is in a good shape (some dings and scratches are present). I have put on a new set of strings, namely DR HiBeams made in USA. My price is £ 350 for it. Sending would be additional £ 30 by regular mail unless you send a courier to The Netherlands (that's where I live).

Here are the pics: http://imageshack.us/g/1/9967601/ This bass is a tone monster, really ruthless piece of wood.
