Cheers mate ..I may take you up on that ....I'm watching a 5 string version of yours on eBay at the moment ..had a lakland for a while With the same configuration as yours ...can't remember why I sold it on ...the ch5 has musicman style pickups which I'm tending to Find suit my style ...good luck Boxing Day mate ....

After hearing a mates cort at a rescent gig ...I've got a little gas for one of these bad boys ..though I beleive painy's had barts fitted (and was a diffrent model) this obviousley has a musicman style ...new there under £300.00 ! The sound bytes sound really good and you do get a lot more bang for your bucks now days )....but there are a lot of cheap end musicman style pups out there ... Anyone got one or tried one ....

Good luck mate ..I moved on to a fiver about 3 years ago ...best thing I ever did ..took a little while ..though I would say I'm pretty Awfull on 4s now ...I had trbx505 loved the array of sounds and for the money they put a lot of £1000.00 bass's to Shame just wish I'd got black one instead of white ;(..

Chap on eBay selling sheets of pick guard material..various colours ...I got a usa sub 5 string with horrible pick guard I'm going to buy a sheet use my Old as a template and make my own ...might be worth a look, If mine goes well I'll even do it for you ...

And there's my fernades Gravity deluxe...a great bass ,very underrated bass...

I'm shocked mate !...never thought I'd see the day "painey and a p bass "!!!...I borrowed a American std for a day ,..hated it But saying that I do gig that aria gt I got cheap quite often but saying that the pup configuration is nothing like the typical p bass sound .. It's for sale for £100.00

Had stingrays before I moved onto 5's and the 5 string sr's didn't do it for me .....I do prefer the 2 eq and have heard it's the preferred acriss the pond ...thinking of rubbing back and spraying or maybe oil ,will depend on quality of grain..also been playing some places I may not want to take a shiny expensive bass and I'm not one for hanging on a wall ... We all know I will buy one still :))

My fernandes gravity delux 5 string in black ..he's very sad and he's lonely as no one seems to love him...;()

Really fancying a stingray classic 5 string ..but I've just snapped up a usa sub 5 string , sounds great and feels great ,so how can I justify parting with £1800.00 ...I'm wondering if it's gonna be that much better..have a feeling I'm just going to be paying for the "pretty dress" ...any thoughts ?
