Bought this corvette as a back up ….just couldn’t fall for the post box red so I was going to move it on ..it did play and sound awesome ..so I spent Sunday morning stripping it back and waxing it Jacobean oak ..literally cost me my time and that’s it ..looks like it was originally antique tobacco it’s as ash wood and think I’ve been quite lucky with the grain ..🤟

Up for sale is my Warwick 5 string corvette..made in Korea ..these were manufactured for about 3 years before being discontinued as the quality was that good it effected sales of the German made these are quite rare .
looks like it’s had a colour change which looks a professional job ..there are signs of buckle rash but no damage .
I’ve upgraded the tuners and the ramp is easily removable if you wish …the bass is passive but has a great tone …and fitted with Elixir nanoweb Stainless 45/130
looks like a 2010 date of manufacture.
the usual 16.5 spacing though this is adjustable
weighing 3.8kg
price includes Warwick gig bag and uk postage…

I’ve rediscovered my love of Warwick that I had in the late 90’s early 2000 and now have a steamer pro M and a corvette 5s and I keep finding myself looking at a thumb bolt on 5 I love that certain growl you only seem to get from those ..there still big money and ive heard there an acquired taste and take some getting used to ….anyone had experience of these ..good and bad of course..

Always had great trade in prices from them ..bought a lot over the years only ever had one issue…i say the best out there 🤟

2001 Ltd Edition Thumb BO. Sometimes, only sometimes, “the one that got away” swims straight back into your net.
I bought this bass in 2003, brand new (despite its year). Gigged with it loads in London, recorded an album.., and then traded it in 2011/12 (not sure) for a Stingray.
It quickly went to the top of the list in my head of basses I’d wished I’d never got rid of. And then…
it appeared up for sale , on Facebook, this week. Mind blown, messages sent and received, confirmation made, bass purchased.
I am so happy. And it’s the beautiful beast of a bass that I remember and with 12 years or so having passed, an instrument I can now appreciate more and make sound even better.
I have a streamer and a corvette 5 and keep thinking about these ..I love the growl just not sure ..I’ve heard they can take a little getting used to ..and there are the price of a small island 😂

Just sold mine ..absolutely nothing wrong with mine ..loud ..goods looks with no issues and only sold as a GK 550 fusion came up on here ..would imagine like most things in life you get a “bad one “ it happened to me with a Ampeg PF 500 and a Markbass ..🤟
