well they have lost all my future business and considering i am a musician for a living (i buy a lot of stuff) they have lost out on a lot of money

dont know but it seems to me they hire too many deadheads instead of a few knowledgable guys

well feedback is pretty important if your an ebayer if they have like only a couple of feedbacks they could have just set up the account with the intention of ripping you off ... the more feedback the more you can trust them

what really annoys me is they have like 10 guys all working there at the same time all trying to fit behind the counter instead of been in the store where they are needed

never tried them before ive only ever used ernie balls.. looking at mixing it up a little tho and unsure as to where to start

After buying a Bass and Amp from PMT Leeds and not being happy with the service, I wondered if i could start a thread to find out some better places to buy from by hearing your gear shopping stories! (good or bad).

I think its about time we named and shamed a few places and praised the good guys who deliver first time every time.

so come on guys I'm looking for some gear for my bass rig where do I shop and where should I avoid???

OK PMT LEEDS OFFICIALLY SUCK!!!

they told me the amp and the bass would be ready to pick up tuesday morning.
Tuesday: i ring up about midday, the guy said he would go see if it was there and ring me back in 2 minutes... i waited an hour. I then rung up again and got a different lad who said he would go find out and ring me back... this time i wait an hour and a half. I ring back a third time to be told that it wasn't there and that it would be there the following day.

Wednesday (Today): i ring up at midday to be told that the amp had arrived but the bass had been sent to the Romford store instead of Leeds, so its going to be tomorrow now till i can get it..

I'm feeling a bit cheesed off now as i feel like i have had to chase this order all the way, there was also no apology regarding the mistake.

I wouldn't mind but I've spent over a grand on this order and they just simply don't care.

This will be the last time I order anything from them.

Im torn between the rotos and the sunbeams.. not sure which id prefer

the first mistake you made was buying Behringer... i avoid them at all costs now

in my experiance in a pub setting the combo should be ample
