    I was wandering if anybody knows where i can find a replacement transformer for my amp? I have contacted Ashdown but they haven't got any in stock and are waiting on supplies. Any suggestions will be great-full cheers [attachment=127417:100_4239.JPG]

    Thanks for all your replies, I have a problem as the transformer has failed and i need to get a replacement, I have got in touch with ashdown but they haven't got any and are waiting for supplies, i was just wandering if anyone knows of where i might be able to get one from [attachment=127415:100_4239.JPG]

    Hi everyone, I have just acquired This Ashdown ABM-C115-300 bass combo and i am trying to find a copy of the manual & tech specs, I have looked online and found one, but the picture of the controls are different in respect that mine has 2 input's 1 high, 1 low. In the manual it shows 1 input with 2 switches, I also have a cable coming out of the back with a jack plug on it and I would like to know what it's for. If any one can help I will be very grateful.     Thanks for that, I have just got it back from having a full pro set up and Boy is it a beast of a bass. Had it taken as low as poss, frets shaved and polished and full oil treatment on neck, such a dream to play

    Hi, yes 4strings it certainly does and more, only one issue and that is it comes with D'Addario Round wound strings and i like playing with flat wounds so i purchased some D'Addario ECB81 Flat wound and after restringing and tuning i noticed that the action height is higher now than with the round wounds on, any idea's?

    Hi I have a Tanglewood rebel 4k and i am thinking of changing the pick ups to improve the sound, I was wandering if any one can come up with, or advise me of any good pick ups, your advice will be of great value

    Hi everyone at last i have found this fantastic forum that a lot of people have been telling me about. I have only started playing bass again after a 25 year break, i play a Tanglewood Rebel 4K with flat wounds which i think gives this bass a lovely warm sound, the music i play at the moment is skiffle and blues and i play a little blues harmonica, I also have an Electra Westone bass with interchangeable necks which i have for sale on basschat, please take a look as this is a rare somewhat unusual guitar. Looking forward to reading some of the post's, thankyou to everyone who views my post.

    Hi I have a 1984 Electra Westone X695JB (LX) Bass for sale. [b]£800.00[/b] This is a rare beast as it has both necks which is very uncommon in its self, I have had to change one of the active switches with a non genuine one which is chrome coloured, not the original black. The fretted neck has seen little use and there is a few dings which you can see in the photos. The fret-less neck is also in good condition with just a few dings but not bad. The back of the body has some scratches from which i can only assume was done by wearing a belt. The rest of the bass is in good condition for its age, all the pick ups work as do all the active switches. it comes complete with case. if you would like some more photo's i would be only to happy to e-mail them onto you. This is a great sounding bass and plays really well.
