  1. leaving feedback for jaydentaku the first chap I had the pleasure to deal with on this site
great communication sent the bass(pictured) down to me the next day after I'd paid for it
he even posted the bass while being sick with a 48 hour flu bug so I could
have the new bass for a London gig the next night

  2. Leaving feedback for Stef030
I brought a Cirrus bass off him a few weeks back he dragged himself all the way from
London after work to bring the bass to me
great guy a pleasure to deal in contact with me everyday

  3. Just leaving feed back for Mark who I met last night
I traded for his fantastic Sterling 34 great guy true to word a pleasure to deal with
in contact with me every day
thanks again for all your help

  4. I'd like to leave feedback for Nige1968 who brought my Antigua Fender Jazz
a pleasure to deal with we made the deal the old fashioned Ebay way and I'd
just like to say the man is true to his word a great payer and great to deal with
I'd have no problem dealing with this gentleman in the future

  5. Sorry if this has already been covered on the Forum but I had to share

when I started playing bass I used to wear it under my chin it was the 80's after all
once the novelty of the flying thumb wore off I started to wear my bass a little lower just above waste height
but have always felt like I was not really playing the instrument as it wasn't close enough to my body(if that makes sense)
just recently I have adjusted my strap to a much longer length (just above crotch)mostly to hide my gut but also because I felt stupid wearing the bass so high after all these years I am no longer the 7 stone bean pole I used to be
I used to work in a Book Bindary and have destroyed my wrists(steady)so at some angles I get painful clicking wrists when playing but that has gone now i have no troubles hitting the notes plus I play with thumb on the front pick up of my Cirrus's with the fingers plucking over the bridge so I still get a nice tight sound
I know our bodies change when we get older we hunch and get wider as middle age spreads but how do you guys/girls wear your basses????

  6. I kicked myself recently as Daintees were playing a nice theatre gig and someone filmed it and stuck it on you tube
I wished I'd used the Pangborn that night as it sounds great but no I haven't got anything to show you sorry

  7. I love your collection well done,
Id love to take mine on the road again but they need a good service
I haven't seen John since 2000 but must get to see him soon
here is the only picture of the Fretless have to hand

  8. hey bud

I had six Jaydee's at one point two MK's a Zebrano session the two GA's and an 1982 Fretless Roadie which I still have
I swapped the Session for a Pangborn Warlord and sold the MK's Series II and III (I believe)as I just didn't get on with them
but no I didn't replace them with others

  9. here are Two of mine I always liked the GA's over the MK's the Green one I played for 15 years
it has Green LED's up the neck and Johns SN2000 pick ups but its retired now

This second one is the Seven Dwarfs a shorter Scale GA version which has the original JD pick ups
and Johns signature on the back of the head stock again this is retired as well
