1.
Hey Ian, Welcome indeed. You may teach us some. Funny you should mention exactly these bassists as influences. All four of them have been heavily influenced by me as well! I have four restraining orders as evidence! (Though I'm sorry I took one out on poor Martin. He's really a good bloke.) Me, I love drummers. They're great fun to be with 24/7, and the best non-musos a band can have working for them. IMHO of course. Enjoy the site! best, bert
Hi Bert Thanks for the welcome Yeah your right mate, Drummers are great ........someones gotta carry the Bass rig in and out of the van....... . Ian
 2.
Hi there Alembic 63. One of the nicest facings I've seen, very pretty. Anyhow if think you'll need to put a trade value on this post as well if you look at the rules of the forum!! Good luck with the trade
Thanks for the advice mate , It's gonna take a nice vintage jazz Bass for me to part with this bass , so Trade value of this bass is £1500 Cheers Ian

 4. Hi Guy's Looking to trade my beautiful Maccassar ebony custom Jazz bass with Status Graphite neck and hiscox hardcase. I had the bass body built around 10 years ago by Brian Eastwood ( http://www.brianeastwoodguitars.co.uk/) originally with a rosewood jazz neck. It's a 5 piece body , Bubinga core, bookmatched Maccasser stripped Ebony front and back with EMG's ,Baddass bridge ,gold hardware. The Status neck and Gotoh machine heads are brand new and were fitted within the last few months by Brian Eastwood . There are a few marks on the back of the body as you would expect from a 10 year old bass but they are merely cosmetic. This Bass is heavy but the trade off is a killer tone. A Custom made Bass to this spec made by Brian Eastwood today would knock you back at least £1500 without the Status neck Looking to trade for a vintage 70's Fender Jazz . Trade value £1500 Sorry Guys, wont let me upload photos for some reason, I'll post photos as soon as I can . cheers Ian
 5.
Hello and welcome Ian. Impressive reading there, I love Geddy and Stanley and always wanted a Wal.....too picey! Post your bass for sale in the 'basses for sale' at the bottom part of the forum, I've sold 2 over the last couple of months and the folks here are a good bunch. Regale us of tales from old Ian. Cheers Leen.
Hi Leen Thanks for the welcome mate.....sold my first wal for £300....and swapped my custom Wal for a 70's Jazz bass.... wouldnt like to think what they would be worth today......., Ive played with the same drummer for 25years and in all that time he's had the the same Tama kit....he thinks I'm mad for constantly changing my Basses , he say " they all sound the same to him" .........that's drummers for ya ...tone deaf.....lol
