  1. Hi

I'd like to trade my Fodera AJ CONTRABASS 6 to Fodera singlecut in 5 or 6 strings. For example Imperial, Emperor II, MG , MG Standard etc... . This AJ have wallnut body with quilted maple top, three pieces maple neck with rosewood fingerboard , Bartolini split coil pickups, original Haz Lab two band preamp, Fodera locking bridge, switches are kill and active/passive. Bass is from 1990 and has been its original teardrop hardshell case from early 90's so condition is allmost mint for its age. Action is superlow without any fret buzzings. This can be also collectors piece. Scale lenght is 34" and string spacing at bridge is 19-20mm. Feel free to ask me anything about this bass. Bass is located in Finland.

So much love received including decent and less decent offers, but the AJ5 is still here desperately waiting to be loved by someone who appreciates the value of a Fodera rather than being interested but saying they are overrated at the same time... It is like wanting a Bugatti for the price of a BMW... Great cars, BMW's but no Bugatti..😉

You are sooooo right. There is just something special in Fodera's.

I'd have a proper look at the Miller versions. the EQ seems to have far more sensible freq centres.

The 500W version is likely to be my next amp purchase.

My amp is only 250w version, but it definetly sounds more powerfull. If I need more power I have my Epifani UL-501 which have 800 watts. At first I buyed MB Marcus Miller to spare amp, but now it might come my main amp. Eq is very musical. I can recommend this amp to everyone:)

  4. Just bought Marcus Miller 250w head and its far best MB amp I have ever had. Eq is very musical and with my Ken Smith Hadrien Feraud model + Epifani UL 112 cabinet sound is amazing. At last rehearsals I connected my Aphex Aural Exiter with it made sound soooo big.

  5. Hi to all

For sale is now my longtime dream. (Or maybe trade for a Fodera). This is Ken Smith BT 6 from 1990. It have an Macassar ebony top and Macassar ebony fingerboard, the core is mahogany. This bass nails that John Patituccis first solo albums sound. It have also the original teardrop hardshell case. Both bass and case are very good condition for they age. And I'm interested about anykind of Foderas Standards etc... . This Smith is located in Finland and price includes shipping in Europe.

    Cheers
