So i've decided to get back into the ol youtube thing and I think i've managed to up the recording quality...slightly. I've also got this new five string (EADGC) and while I can up with this arrangement on a four string i've adapted somewhat, to be honest just being able to play my usual four string voicings but in more places on the neck is the most useful thing. Just got on the youtube bandwagon recently as an outlet for my solo bass musings, at the moment its a mix up of ol jazz standards, themes from film and tv and (currently) one original. I'm pretty new to the whole bass video malarky so any advice/feedback is greatly appreciated. http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCoNXTWdNM4xGdcpam6hZePA?feature=watch One thing i'm struggling with is getting decent levels and quality from different speakers, what sounds fine on my home speakers sounds crazy distorted on my friends macbook so if any veterans know any tips let me know!
