    Ashdown Engineering’s Superfly combines a sophisticated programmable bass preamplifier and a powerful 2 x 250 Watts RMS power section in a compact bass amp head that weighs in at just 10 pounds. A product of the Ashdown Labs development programme, the Superfly has a powerful, authoritative sound with a strong, controlled bottom end and clear, precise highs, all courtesy of an advanced digital power amp section.

    Programming the preamplifier is an intuitive and straightforward process. The user can store 69 programmes comprising of input level, 7-band graphic equalisation and compression settings, and switch them via any MIDI-compatible pedal to achieve an exceptional degree of live performance control on stage. In addition, a further 30 factory settings are available.

    The Superfly comes in its original box with all accessories included (Instruction Manual, Padded Bag, Shoulder Strap and Adaptors, Rack Ears and Mounting Kit, Mains Lead).

    HI all.

    First, my apologies to the BC community as I've been dormant for a while now - it was discourteous of me to just dissappear from the face of the earth without saying anything. Hopefully you'll all forgive my bad manners because this feels like the right time for me to get back into the bass-playing world.

    I continue to play bass with a couple of bands and my current gig-rig is a 5-String Status Stealth into a TC RH450 Head + TC 2x10 and 2x12 Cabs.

    So assuming I've been accepted back into the fold - I'll sign off and start being an active member again.

    Take it easy - and it's good to be back.
