3. Playin' fretless now is definetely not my thing, I'm on the other side, find another one will be very very very difficult.. if you used it in a studio.. "never lost in mix", you know what it means
 4. Hi guys, I have this old (but gorgeous) all composite fretless Steinberger XL-2A for sale, Nr. 5787, (XL-2AUF would be the correct model, you can see this on Steinbergerworld, in the serial number database), totally original. I thought to sell it for my extended range ispiration, I'm on that side, I've some music to rec, so I'm regretfully going to sell the best fretless I've ever played The bass is in very mint conditions as you can see in the pics, no chips, very few little marks at all, almost perfect thinkin' that it was made in 1988. It has active electronic and active EMG pickups: Master Volume, Pickup Pan, Bass/Treble Boost/Cut. Neck in these all composite instruments never change with the weather and it lose a 1/8 of half-tone each month, really amazing for this and obviously for its fat tone Currently set up with a set of Status Flatwound, hardware in all these years has been lubricated (don't know if is correct this word, you obviously MUST correct me) I also include the original Steinberger bag and strap! £1600 including shipping EU and insurance Here pics! Thank you for looking

 7. Hi to everybody from Italy, this is my first post on BC, I usually am on Talkbass or on Megabass Because of my Extended Range Gass, I’ve decided to sell my Conklin Groove Tools 7 (my luthier can't wait to start my 9s), It plays great, and sounds incredible! Superb clarity and definition, I've picked up two months ago for my first experiment with ERBs, and it's exactly perfect for this objective and to get a good ERB for a really good price, find a less expensive one is strictly impossibile. It's in great condition, besides a couple little dings, check out the photos. Also, at some point, someone replaced the B-string tuner with a Gotoh. It's almost identical to the other 6 and I didn't notice until I had had the for over two weeks. Subtle to say the least. The strap button on the top horn was switched to a bracket, which is far better. I've actually never seen someone do this on any bass, but it looks and balances amazing.

Ash body topped with beautifully figured maple (natural finish)
Multi-laminate neck is constructed of incredibly stable wenge and purpleheart
Carved, extremely comfortable profile
Angled headstock to increase tension over the nut and improve sustain
Contoured neck heel and deep cutaway body shape for unobstructed access
Off-side position markers
Bartolini active pickups with Volume, Blend, Bass and Treble controls
Locking Neutrik i£nput jack
I can send other pics or show it on Skype. No trades for this, I'm sorry, but .. read above Price £[s]900[/s] [s]£850[/s] only £800 FINAL PRICE DROP EDIT: Prometeus fretless is now sold
