  1. Price drop... £700 collected or delivered locally. Ask me about shipping.
  2. I would definitely keep this head if I could, I'm finally at a point where I'm totally happy with my setup. Just a shame I'm not in a situation to use it all!
  3. No trades I'm afraid, unfortunately I need to raise some funds.
  4. Here's my Pedaltrain JR with hard case, it's available with all the pedals for £500 or I will split and sell seperately. Pedaltrain £80 Idiot Box Han-Taun £150 Micro Pog - sold MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe - sold Poly Tune Mini -sold MXR Micro Amp - £60 All Prices Negotiable
  5. Price drop, £1200 or offers considered. Selling my custom Fender Jazz/Thunderbird a lot of work and quality parts has gone into this, the price listed is the cost of the bass in parts alone, excluding paint and labour. This was made to my custom spec, and the tone is just thunderous! It's only 1 year old, has played 3 gigs and a few practice sessions. Finished in seafoam green nitro paint, I planned on owning this forever and wanted it to wear just like an old fender. It does have a couple parts where the paint was left thinner and it has worn to the primer - I think this looks great and adds some character. The frets are as new, with little to no wear, as can be seen in the photos. The only reason I've ended up putting it up for sale is that I'm raising some cash to relocate and I'm also scaling back my bass gear. I'm not fixed on the price so happy to discuss offers. It will come with a very high quality padded gig bag. Hers the specs: One piece Swamp Ash body custom routing Warmoth Maple neck, Indian rosewood with blocks and binding - Finished in Danish oil for a beautifully smooth satin finish that shows nice grain. Mike Lull Custom Thunderbird Pickups - £500 alone Delano 2 band active preamp Hipshot brass bridge Schaller tuners and strap lock buttons Seafoam green nitro finish with matching headstock Setup and strung with DR High Beams
  6. Now priced at £700 So I've decided to sell my Barefaced Six10, the only reason it has to go is I need to downsize and raise money to relocate. I'm actually incredibly sad to see this go as it's been my main cab for a couple of years. You wouldnt believe how light and practical it is for a 6x10, I easily load it in and out of my saloon car and carry/ wheel it into gigs and up stairs. It crazy loud, whatever head you run through it and the tone is simply perfect! I used a HiWatt tube head with it for a couple years and recently started using a Microtubes 900 through it, the Microtubes runs at about 9 o'clock on the master volume for a practice with a 4 piece and a loud drummer. When I had the the HiWatt I used to find it funny when people decided to help me by carrying the head instead of the cab, I'd grab the cab over the head any day. It is 4 ohm and has speakon connectors on the rear, port on the bottom and wheels to help move it about. Comes with fitted Roqsoild Cover, black with white piping and Barefaced logo on the front. I'd rather not ship as it's is still quite awkward to package and protect it for the journey, I am happy to deliver within about a two hour drive, that includes meeting half way. Or of course you can come and collect it yourself. I am unsure on the price, so will consider reasonable offers.
  7. Here's my brand new Microtubes 900, I've had it a couple month's but only used it a few times at home and for one studio session. So it's basically brand new in the original box with all the goodies. I'm scaling back my gear and my playing at the minute, as I'm trying to raise some money to help relocate. I absolutely love the amp, it is incredible. I finally got to the stage where I am completely happy with my gear and my tone thanks to this amp. Unfortunately I no longer need this amp and need to raise the cash. You're welcome to try it and collect or I can send it via courier. Also happy to deliver locally.
  8. You can use it with a single 4 ohm cab. It's a tube amp so as long as the impedance isn't higher than the output and it isn't drastically different it is fine. I checked with both Alex at barefaced and the guys at EMS when I had it serviced and they both said it is fine to run with my single 4 ohm barefaced 6x10 as long as it is set to 8 ohm, which I have been for about a year.
  9. I've had to pop out tonight after work, so haven't had time to take photos etc. Will do as soon as I can, I've added a photo that I have on my laptop.
  10. Selling my Hiwatt Bass 100, 100 Watt head. I believe it was made in the early 80s, it's in good condition with a few marks in the tolex as you'd expect. It's been well looked after in the time I've recently had it, have had new tubes fitted and re biased amd the amp itself cleaned and serviced. It's got plenty of power through a 4 or 6x10, I play in a pretty loud band and I've never not had enough headroom. Although it only allows switching between 8 and 16ohm loads, it is perfectly fine to use with a single 4ohm cab. I checked with Alex at barefaced and they guys at EMS when I had it serviced, both said it was fine as a 1:2 mismatch on a class A tube amp is fine. So as long as it is set to 8ohm it will run perfectly. My barefaced six10 is 4ohm and has been running lovely for a year or two with no problems at all. The other way round 4ohm into 8ohm or trying a lower impedance cab on a solid state amp would cause damage yes, but not on class A tube as long as the mismatch is not extreme. I'm happy to ship it if required, or deliver for fuel money. Comes with a roqsolid black cover with white piping. 11. I'm willing to travel and Surrey is fine with me. Pm if you're interested.
  12. Send me any offers, cash, bank transfer etc. Would be good to move this on.
  13. Finally come to selling this, I'm cutting down my gear and since building my own Jazz I haven't played this. As you can see its in lovely condition with a few age related marks as you'd expect. It has a small amount of lacquer marks on the under side of the neck like a lot of these late 70s P basses do have. It doesn't affect playability at all. Plenty of fret life remaining, electronics are are all good and the tone is gorgeous. Everything is original including the chrome covers; I have fitted schaller strap buttons to use with strap locks, I still have the original buttons if you want them. Comes with the modern Fender hardcase, and can be shipped within the UK. Offers Considered I'm based in Essex but I'm happy to travel an hour or two to meet anyone if it makes things easier.
