1. Hi, I'm an electric bassist with 12 years' professional experience - musical theatre, function bands, cruise contracts and session work. I've recently spent 4 years on the Mamma Mia! International Tour, which took me as far as SE Asia & New Zealand, as well as all over Europe. Prior to that, UK touring (Blood Brothers, Jesus Christ Superstar) and West End deps (Blood Brothers, Mamma Mia!.). Excellent reader, great musical ear, very versatile. Comfortable with all genres. 4,5,6 string, fretless. I also play electric upright. I have my own gear and transport. I'm based in South Manchester but happy to travel a fair distance if it's worthwhile. Here's a few links to my playing: http://soundcloud.co...my-life/s-7p6fO http://soundcloud.co...ey-boys/s-tl4I0 http://soundcloud.co...-good-2/s-9Pd20 http://soundcloud.co...eave-me/s-OYeHi I'm happy to consider any type of paid work Email: [email protected] Cheers Matt

3. Hi Tom, I'm a bassist based in Glasgow, obviously not local enough to be able to commit regularly to a band based in Aberdeen(!), but gimme a shout if you need a dep for any gigs closer to the central belt, Perth/Dundee kind of area would be fine. 12 years in the biz, loads of function band experience, own gear & transport, happy to be emailed a set list in advance. Let me know anyway Cheers Matt

5. Sorry, I'm an idiot... here's what it looks like...
6. Hi there, I bought this bass new about 4 years ago. It was a quick purchase for a show requiring a small amount of fretless, on which I used it for about 8 weeks. I haven't played it in earnest since. Consequently it is in good condition; there are 2 very minor nicks on the back of the body and slight wear on the fingerboard from the roundwound strings that were fitted when I bought it. Fitting flats would obviously cause less abrasion to the fingerboard. This was my first fretless bass and I found it very playable from the start, with a nice range of tone available for the relatively small price (think I paid £330 in my local guitar shop?) Spec: Sunburst contoured basswood body. Bolt-on maple and walnut neck. 34" scale. 2 octave rosewood fingerboard. Grover machineheads. 2 soapbar pickups with Dean preamp. Controls: Vol, pickup selector, treble, bass. 9v battery included. I'm looking to sell the bass for approx. £180, happy to consider offers. I'm based in Glasgow, would prefer collection, but can certainly arrange delivery locally (ish!). NB also, I'll be travelling to London via Manchester Thur July 5th, returning the Thur after, and will have the bass with me, for any Manchester- or London-based folk interested in viewing the bass - I'm sure something could be arranged. Cheers
