I have a newly acquired Yamaha TRB5PII that I love. One problem. When I play the E or B strings open, I get an internal rattle in the bass. It seems to be coming from either the Neck pickup or the (God Forbid) truss rod. The rattle does come through the amplifier. Any thoughts on the most likely culprit?

I have been on the hunt for a Yamaha TRB5PII for a while. I found that Chris had one he was looking to sell, and came to an agreement for a deal with him over am extremely short amount of time. Chris was a real pro and the ultimate gentleman . I Loved working with him. The bass arrived yesterday, packed to withstand any amount of abuse, and it was in perfect condition, I wouldn't hesitate to deal with Chris - Thanks! Arlin Hall
