No, Audere claim (and I agree) the mid Z mode is completely transparent when EQ set flat, so P/A switch not needed. There is a battery status led which should warn you if the battery is running out.

I honestly don't know, I bought it used from another member here. Looks good, no crackles on any pots ... sounds great.

The BTS is a stacked treble / bass version. I have a new EMG volume pot and can wire it up with a blend pot if needed. £40 inc UK postage and paypal. Thanks

This is a 5 pots version : vol (active/passive push-pull), balance, bass, mid, treble (acts as passive tone control in passive mode).
