Talk to Alan at ACG. That's who built my 7 string.
-
I tune my seven string bass EBEAGGC. and my fretless GCGCFA#. Lots of people who have never tried it will tell you it won't work. I disagree, but there you go.

Price reduction to £200 plus shipping. Im in no rush to sell so i will bang it on the bay after xmas is out the way.
-
I love this bass. Alas i have no use for any more four strings but best of luck.
-
I have 3 ACGs all with asymmetric necks; a 5,6 and 7 string, and i love them i have no problem swapping to other basses but i think i would choose to have all asymmetric if i could.

We are very lucky to have specialist shops like Bass Gear and Bass Direct. Whenever i need to buy something i try to give them the business. Both are excellent.

Cheers dude. Its a great bass and i am in no hurry to move her on.
-
Glad you all liked it. Brightened up my otherwise dreary Friday.

Ive always loved fretless but i think there are so many fretless fretless players around just now. Dominic Lapointe has been a massive influence on my and he is also a lefty.

Saw this today and thought it was great fun. Not sure if its a drummer at the wrong gig thing and you have already all seen it.

Anyone fancy this?

Really into fretless just now. Not really playing fretted much. Anyone else go through fretless phases?
-
Would also consider trades for 6 string fretless basses. Could potentially out some money towards.

I have an Epic and it is an awesome bass. Anyone who buys this won't be disappointed. Also MXM is a gent.

original volume knob found. 600 watt amp for £225 bargain!

Probably my last pedal train mini setup for a while. I want to start using my wah pedal, maybe my whammy and i want to get at least an Aguilar filter twin also need to fit my amp foot switch on. I really like the tone print pedals from TC. I only use effects in one of my bands the rest of the time i use them for solo playing and c**king around so its good to have pedals with lots of options. I do fancy changing my reverb for an Iron Ether one though as the HOF is too much for me.
Boss OC2 - Rat Bastard - Corona Chorus - Hall of fame reverb - flashback delay.

The singer from my band is from Mnachester. I will check with him.

Just to point out this is a handmade bass for £525! crazy good value. Its currently strung E-C and has a great mid presence.

Cheers for the comments guys. It sounds huge. Very loud. Valve warmth and can get quite aggressive.
Weight wise its heavy at 35lbs. price wise i think i have got it right. there is a used one in the gallery just now for £699 used so i think mine is a good deal. -
I have a P bass and its great. I want to stick an Aguilar P bass pickup in there but the original is pretty darn good.

Sounds to me like a bass played hard with a pick through a SVT that's overdriving. It think the key is how you play the bass here. Might be a distortion pedal on there but I don't think so.
