1. I am available for tuition around the solihull birmingham area and am available to travel further for additional charges. I have around 4 years experience tutoring children from ages 7+ and adults of all ages. I am able to teach from beginner to a good standard across many techniques and styles. With the knowledge gained from my BTEC Music course at stratford upon avon college (obtaining triple Distinction) I am able to add more than just bass technique to my lessons. I have planned lessons which can be focused on or ignored if you are interested in something specific. Lessons can be to learn songs or to learn the instrument to a better standard, or even to learn a new genre entirely. Lessons are £25/hr* available throughout the week. If interested please feel free to reply to this message. *additional charges depending on distance.
2. Yeah I have the Vintage "jaco style" bass with all the wilkinson hardware. Got it dead cheap off a mate and it sounds like a beast with nylon coated roundwounds. For the price I would take this over a fender any day.
3. I would like to sell this bass as I am hoping to save money for a fretless Warwick that I have my eye on. (Item will be pick up only - Solihull birmingham area west midlands.) Suggested price by Warwick's price lists (Brand new) - £2.129,00. I will sell for £850. No trade. (Paypal or cash on pick up) More than welcome to come and try before you buy. The Streamer $$ has the right sound for every situation. Two MEC MM-Style pickups with open pole pieces can make straight drive, but, if required, offers the right sound for slaps and funk - made possible by the ingenious circuitry. Both pickups can be switched in serial, parallel or single coil independently of each other, and the MEC 2-band electronic permits even further effective conditioning of the signal. The body is made of US Swamp Ash, and is ergonomically perfectly shaped, as one would expect from a Streamer. The neck is made of Maple with a fingerboard of Wenge and has 24 frets. Natural finish. Gold Hardware. (slight dent on rear of headstock which is pictured. also slight wear to the right of the neck pickup) It is a great bass to gig with and has never steered me wrong. I will include the original gig-bag. although worn it still provides good security when transporting.
