  1. Looking to sell this cab as I'm moving onto a different set up(amp in pic not included). All works as it should, I've fitted wheels that can be easily removed and it also comes with a cover. Hardly any marks that I'm aware of although I'll have a quick inspection, I can take more pics if required. Collection from Leicester or can meet up within reasonable distance. ThanksProduct Details

How are you eq'ing the OBT500? A flat setting on this amp is treble and bass fully anti clockwise and mids fully clockwise. I'm just wondering if you're running the treble at 12 noon thinking that it's neither cutting or boosting whereas on this amp the 12 noon position is boosting treble

That's what I have been doing, having the treble at noon. Didn't realise the flat settings areas you said. Cheers for that

Turn off the tweeter in the cab if you haven't already?

I have an obt500 as a backup head and it sounds real full and fat with loads of bottom end through my obc115 and the ibc410 I used at one show...

What bass you using? Strings? EQ settings?

My try it with the tweeter off, forgot you could do that. Read about it before I had one.

I`d look at one of these programmable grahics - a boost of overall volume or specific frequency could do just the job:

Cheers Lozz, I'll have a gander at that.

  5. Bit of pedal advice needed. Can someone recommend a pedal for boosting volume in certain parts of certain songs a bit like a boost channel on a lead guitar I guess. Not overly clued up on effects etc so any advice would be great, thanks.
