i was thinking of gettin sum elixirs which i think are 45,65,85,105 cos atm im jusing lights
oh course there is the other approach which is to get a 5 string too
hey.
just joined another band, who currently play all ther songs tuned to C sharp. im used to standard tuning so found it a bit weird.
basically i have a four string and was wondering wot the best choice of stings are for lower tuning???
cheers
my band was lucky enuff to have a some of a song played on radio 1 (just sweet theft - plug )
my bass sounded a soo much thicker and powerfull, still my playing let me down.
right i have never attempted to improve any parts on a bass befor so i could use a little help.
the jaguar plays really well, however i am noticing alot more neck dive any ideas as to what tuners i could use??
and also there wont b any problems fitting a badass 2 to it will there?? im guessing it has a similar bridge to a jazz/p?
cheers
ive searched the forum and cant find anything on them at all.
possibly cos noe of you like them but was wondering if anyone has owned or even plaed one befor?
in my opinion if they play like tht red one looks then i'll b happy.
ive been reading a book recently, 'the rock and roll times guide to the music industry' which is worth having a read of, related to this subject. but its main focus is A&R departments and they work.
sounds like i should easily blow all the ££ i have. now all i gotta do is make a decision, im thinkin i could b there for a long time.
how much to PMT and soundcontrol mark up the price compared to the website, roughly?
i guess i dont have to go to birmingham, i live near worcester an bham seemed like a gd choice??
also anyone got any other ideas as for stuff i should look out for in the £500-£800 bracket, thin neck suits my girlishly small hands hense the geddy lee and the SR
