I have the same dilemma - I use 2 basses of the 8 or so I have, no need for all the amps, effects, cabs and a whole load of other stuff that sits idle. 

I have great difficulty selling bassss (i need to - no point hanging onto stuff for the sake of it) but the rest is superfluous now I only use IEMs and a direct to PA setup

i feel a purge coming on - thanks Dood !
