  1. Yamaha BB735A Sunburst 5 String PJ Active Bass Guitar With Sturdy Gig Bag.

Sold elsewhere for £570 + £39.99 shipping via ParcelForce tracked, signed for and with third party delivery insurance.

In perfect working order and plays well (of course set up to your preference!)

Has been gigged but well looked after - I have tried to take photos of every noticeable scratch / minor dent to show you the condition as best as possible. As you can see most of the scratches don’t appear unless under direct light or when using a flash thanks to the dark brown finish. See the bridge specifically which I had to use flash to show.

Bass comes with gig bag shown which is sturdier than most!

Will be double boxed in the gig bag and shipped via parcel force and insured.

Bass is currently fitted with a newish (a month or so) set of MarkBass LongEvo 045-130 coated bass strings.

Any questions please let me know.

See spec and further details below!

  2. I use "Amazing Slow Downer" on my ipad. Think its £15 but it works fairly seamlessly with Spotify and Apple Music (haven't tested Apple music personally) - can change speed and pitch etc. Worth a look at least.

  3. Googled fender this evening to get to their website and was greeted by this beauty on the ads at the top of my search results.

    They also have another listing...

Given the account has good reviews (I’m sure there are ways to cheat the system) I do wonder what the purpose of this was, just a bit of a gag? Or an attempt to rope in the hardcore rarity collectors.

I had the "old", italian made LM lll, and the head in my combo is exactly the same, only a different name, "combo head ll", also italian made and still class a/b. The newer indonesian LMlll and combo heads are all class D now, some people say the newer ones lack warmth.. personally I have no experience with those because I have only had, and have, the older italian stuff. Maybe I should only start with an extra cab. I am leaning to the standard line 112hr.

Regardless of the head situation, IMO the tonal difference from adding a second cab truly changes the combo into something else and when we all eventually get gigging again you'll be thankful.

That’s put me off a bit, but I had forgotten about this pedal so wasn’t really thinking about getting it.

I was really disappointed. I've seen other people enjoying it but complaining of clipping issues instead. Particular on talkbass if you head over there and have a read.

It’s too good an amp to write off without a bit more effort! I’m sure you can find someone who will give it a go?  Just seems a shame to consign it to the parts bin...

Just lost faith in it tbh. Sending it away just won't justify the cost for me - I'd rather have the excuse to get a new rig. More fun that way...

I've read about the lack of support on my side of the Pond. It's sad to hear it's universal. The only way past it is for folks to quit buying their products. Good support policies are what leads to fresh sales. I certainly wouldn't buy a Mark Bass product. :(

Fortunately retailers like Thomann can offer solid warranties and supposedly good repair facilities.

As a thought, being out of touch with the goings on in Europe, would it be to expensive to return to the factory in Italy? All Covid problems aside.

Probably not that bad however it really is out of warranty I purchased this in Dec 16 and I have opened it multiple times which they'll notice. Last time I used MB support it took an age to get a response and I'd assume they would direct me to Real electronics anyway. They didn't want to look at the speaker fault in the same combo months ago so doubt they'd be interested in the amp!
