2012 Gibson Grabber G3 70’s Tribute bass in Satin black. A really cool looking bass and sounds huge. I think if Batman played bass he would definitely be rocking this one. Only selling as I think I prefer playing short scale basses. Bit of an impulse buy really! Full scale, solid maple body and neck with a torrefied Maple fingerboard, Satin black finish, single volume and tone controls with the usual Grabber pickup switching. Bridge & middle, all three, Neck and middle. Reverse wound middle pickup so all positions are humbucking with no 60 cycle hum. Weight is 9lbs5oz/4.2kgs. Guitar is in excellent condition with just a couple of small marks on the neck by the 4th and 5th frets, a very minor ding on the cutaway and another two tiny ones on the bottom rear edge (see pictures). Doesn’t seem to have had a lot of use since new and has been looked after well. Frets are all good with no wear. Comes with Gibson gig bag, paperwork, truss rod wrench and bridge cover (purchased by previous owner but never fitted). Interested in trades for the following… Gibson Thunderbird Fender 50’s Road Worn Precision Fender AO 50’s Precision Fender American Vintage II Precision Other trades considered. Hello. Up for sale is my very recently acquired (and very pretty) 2010 Gretsch G6119BO Broadkaster Bass. I bought this on a bit of whim as I’ve always loved the looks but just can’t seem to gel with the sound and feel. I was originally on the look out for a jazz bass when I picked this up. Although short scale, it doesn’t actually feel like that when playing. More medium/long scale because of the size of the body. My Musicmaster bass feels diddy in comparison. It also takes long scale strings because of the extra distance behind the bridge. There’s also more clarity on the low E than other short scales I’ve owned. It’s in excellent condition showing only the lightest signs of use. A little bit of corrosion on the pickups which would come off with a polish but otherwise looks barely used since new. (Edit: Pickups are now polished and looking like new). Comes with case and all the paperwork. The case is missing one latch but it doesn’t affect anything and still holds the guitar nice and snug. Also currently strung up with a new set of flats. I would be interested in trades for the following… Fender AVRI or Road Worn Jazz/Precision (Not Sunburst). Gibson Non Reverse Thunderbird (recent reissue). Fender Japan Junior Jazz. Rickenbacker 4003(s) (Regular 6 String guitars)… Gibson Les Paul Special (Cherry) Fender American Performer Mustang Other options also considered. Hi. I make it 9.2lbs on my kitchen scales.

2013 American Standard Precision in 3-Tone sunburst. All stock and in imaculate condition with original TSL case, strap(s), cloth and paperwork etc. I’ve only recently acquired this bass and It does sound and play great (the satin finished neck is lovely) but I think I’m after something with a slightly slimmer neck and rosewood board. 2011 Gibson SG Bass in Faded Cherry (Now Sold). This is a wonderful bass but I find myself playing my old Musicmaster more often and don’t really need two short scales at the moment. The bass is in excellent condition. No nasty knocks or dings to note and the frets are perfect. The faded Cherry finish has a really nice patina to it and doesn’t look washed out like others I’ve seen. It features an upgraded Hipshot bridge but the original 3 point bridge is included in the sale along with original Gibson hard case and inspection card. Weighs in at 7.8lbs on the kitchen scales. Ideally looking to sell but would trade for a nice Jazz or JMJ mustang. Would also be interested in a Telecaster or Fender Champ (Original or ‘68 reissue).
