1.
I have a blonde (transparent yellow) japanese '51 precision, circa 2001 I think, so basically its a "Sting" bass without the sunburst finish, signiature and hefty price tag. Been in storage for 5 years and its immaculate. I bought it second hand but it's like new. I have the tags somehere but I can't find em so I cant include them wth the sale unfortunately. Very cool, not for slapping, google it. 0ffers over £450 Also a nasty indonesian Fender Squier Jazz about 5 years old, a pig to play compared to the real thing but its in sunburst and I've replaced the white scratchplate with a red tortoiseshell effect one and the tacky chrome precision-style knobs with proper fender jazz black plastic ones ...so from a distance it looks good! £125 for that. PM me. I'm in Halifax, the town, not the bank.
Edit: I'm never gonna sell the Blonde while theres a Sting bass on here for cheaper. never mind, his one's for those of you who hate sting (although I think he's ace)

 3. This is fundamentally a dual purpose guitar or bass cabinet as it a sealed 2x15, wide, tall and shallow, which is great for narrow stages. The drivers are in good condition as is the grille although the tolex has seen better days. There are a couple of these on ebay at the mo although they're barely recognisable. Mine has the original JBLs visible thru the original silver cloth grille (although to be fair this thing is about 40 years old, the cloth looks more beige thgan silver!) and the fender badge is intact but I'm not sure if its the original one but the badge doesnt affect the sound lol....... it sounds fantastic for bass or guitar as the JBLs have a very clean warm sound at low to medium levels and grunt nicely when pushed. Needless to say it is very heavy but if you want that authentic vintage look and sound its par for the course I'm afraid. If you know any guitarist or bass players with an old "piggyback" fender or music man head, this is the cab that will do it justice. I believe the guy I bought this cab from played keyboards in The Band Of Joy with Robert Plant, not sure if he used this very cab but JPJ later had 2 of em for his keyboard backline in led zeppelin so if I dont get chance to put some pics up, you'll get some idea of what it looks like from watching old zep footage. Or just google it. Fender Dual Showman Cabinet innit. I would love to have had the matching amp, and I nearly did........ but thats another story.,,,,,,, Offers over £200 for this, mainly because its an all original vintage piece of kit. You'll need a family hatchback at least to collect it but I may deliver locally . Halifax/Leeds UK. PM me if you or your guitarist likes a bit of middle-aged stuff. Cheers.
 4. Hi, having a clearout, band split 6 months ago and i'm just a soundguy at the mo so........ Both early 90's cabs, the Peavey I've owned from new and is showing its age but still working ok, original 10" drivers, horn has been replaced with identical fostex one. Peavey used to use the same fostex horns in their cabs as the likes of SWR apparently, but anyway....... black carpet ripped all over the place horn attenuator and large rear port. Jack socket. 8 ohms - £100 for that. The Trace has had the original celestions replaced by its previous owner with rather superior PD 104s, which means its quite hefty but sounds ace. I only bought the thing coz I was gonna use the PDs for another project but I dont need em now so its gotta go. Horn attenuator, 2 x jacks + 2 x XLRs on the back, twin ports at the front, classic grey rubbery vinyl in decent nick. 8 ohms. - £200 ono. I also have a Peavey Probass 1000 1u rackmount preamp. It has a 9 band graphic and variable crossover, one of the slider knobs has been lost but the slider works fine. I've had it from new, it hasnt been gigged for 15 years, still have the owners manual. Was always racked - £90 I have a couple of basses for sale and a vintage bass or guitar cab, see other threads. PM if you're interested. Collection from Halifax/Leeds UK or may deliver locally. I can post the preamp within UK. Cheers. Trev
