I have one myself and can testify to the quality of these basses - I'm more than happy to do any kind of gig with mine :)

Hi guys, just gotta say my new VM5 is the bee's nuts, tits, and every other adjective. Put it thru' my Ashdown 300 Evo 2 head and Peavey 410 TVX at last nite's first 2012 gig, and if my smile got any wider, the top of my head would have fallen off! Well done chaps for an incredible set of wood and wires for sub £300. Nice, very nice.

    :gas:

Yeah, I've got the 4 string version and I love it !
It's a really nice bass for it's price.
    :D

  5. So I've really started getting into the Slapping part of bass, I love it.

There are also so many great players out there but because of their greatness their pieces are also Hard !

I can play things like Marcus Millers - Power, What is Hip (Slightly) - A bit of Louis Johnson and some others.

Just wanted to know what other artists are out there ?

I just want to learn some nice funky slap bass and create my own ideas from them.

    Thanks

( A list of artist's and songs would be amazing)

I'm assuming you mean plugging the bass straight into the mic input? I've tried that method before, on a crappy laptop with no decent sound card to speak of. Soundwise It's good fr rough recordings but I wouldn't use it for anything 'proper'. Your experiences may be better though and it won't hurt to try :)

Yep the adapter staright into the mic ... btw what programme do you use to record, audacity ? or something similar ?

  7. Okay so basically i have got my self an adapter which will convert my jack cable into the 3.5mm output, which then i can connect to my pc with.

I wanted to know would this way work if i wanted to record myself ?

If not what else would i need ?

I have enjoyed this bass for a only a few months, but she is stable, very playable, and has a great sonic range. In very good nick, with only a couple of light buckle scratches on the back. Will come with a Tribal Planet gig bag, not a great one but does the job. If you need to know more read away!
