- Old mules, one cam & pure malt songs…
That's how we named our weekend in Portugal's main centre... one little village called Nesperal.
A six pack of friends, ( John M. Dope, Mr. Ben Casa de Sol, The Birdman, Mark the Lizard, Rated R and G Vine) that got together to let their music passion run through the veins, play and sing with their hearts... Fred "à-espera" made sure to make those moments eternal with one camera, some microphones and a candle!
So... here we are sharing it with you…
Join us at our damn sessions live to tape rough experience and listen to it just as it is.
Nothing more... Just moments!
Stay damned!- 1

Just the one lead, Lozz, from the SansAmp output to the amps' FX return. Plugging into that cuts the Rootmaster's preamp out of the circuit, so the only front panel control on the amp that still works is the master volume. I'm playing it at the moment (well, put the bass on my lap to type) and even my Jazz basses sound great through it!
I'm technically ignorant as well, but this was written out clearly in the SansAmp's instruction manual, which has been hiding in the box since I bought it several years ago!
Hi,
Does it work with another preamp? I have a Darkglass VMTD and a B7K.
I use a Warwick Wamp 800.

Hello Hazbeen
I'm very interested in this Sumo. Please keep your feedback about this.
I see some dirt/overdrive pedals on your pedalboard. How the Sumo works with this pedals?

I've got the tb1200 which is similar in layout but I think the tb1200 has valves in the front end.
I love mine. I run it pretty clean with pedals driving dirt and it punches really hard and has a stack of power.
I've just bought a matamp GT200 but I still can't bring myself to part with this one.
Hope you enjoy it.

Thank you.
I would like to try the TB 1200, but it's not easy to find in Portugal. -

I have Fender TBP1, which is the preamp section from this amp. Great, but tricky.
Flat eq is 2-10-2, so don’t be afraid to back up bass and treble and set the mids on full. This is a passive tone stack.
The overdrive is quite useless.
The parametric mids are great
The room control Is amazing on difficult stages.

Thank you Mazdah. -
Hi
Does anyone have this amp, or tried one of these?
Will try one in a few days but I would like your opinion.
I play in 3 projects with very different styles of music (punk, blues/rock, industrial/metal)
Thanks
Cheers

Anyone using this with a Schroeder cabinet?
Same question here -
Does anyone tried the M900 with Schroeder cabs?
-
I have a STM 900.
I tried the DB 410 and the 212.
For me the 212 is fantastic, but it's big and heavy.
My rig is a STM 900 and a Schroeder 1512L (4ohm - 19kg). It's a light weight rig with lots of power.
Off topic - Do you use the stock valves on the STM 900, or did you change it?
-
That two cabs are a massive wall bass sound.
I have the 1512L and i love it. I keep dreaming with a 1010l or 1210l on top .

Is this a B3K or a Vintage Microtubes???
-
Fantastic bass. The black sparkle is beautiful.
I have the same bass (1999), but the 5 string version.

Any experience in changing valves from a Genz-Benz Streamliner 900 out there??? Thanks
-
Many thanks my friend.
Cheers

Bought a loaded P Bass body and a neck from Rich.
They travel to Portugal. Everything was well packaged.
And he put a set of strings on the packaged what can I say???
Great guy to deal.
Thanks

Thanks Badass.

Hi,
I have been using one for about three years (bought second hand).
Nothing to report on my side...
If you plan to couple it with the Streamliner be prepared for A LOT of basses
Thanks Beorn.
Yes, It will be couple with the Streamliner 900 and a Schroeder 1512. I will survive?!?! -
Hello
I have a question about this pedal. I'm tempting to buy one ( the old version, not DI ).
Did someone had problems with this pedal? I'm not asking about the tone/sound. Other problems with it.
Like valve changes, built problems, connections.....
I'm all ears.
Thanks. -
Hi
Send me pictures from the Long Confort Strapp and the "Long" Mono Strap.
Thanks,
Rui

I am thinking of changing the valves of my streamliner 900 to these Electro Harmonix.
Should I change the 3 valves?changing the valves of my streamliner 900 to these Electro Harmonix.
