Thanks!
Bert: we have many words in common, for instance advocaat - advokat. Sure, it means "lawyer" in swedish but still... -
Hey!
Gustaf, bass player from Stockholm, Sweden. Doing mostly freelance work but every
now and then I get hooked up with a band. Samples are available at: http://www.reverbnation.com/gustafhielm
Since (too) many years (too) active on the swedish pratabas.se forum which I guess some of you are as well.
Thinning the herd at the moment to make way for a few custom builds, however my main basses are:
Sadowsky RV-5
Zero Sette Super Basso
Ibanez LACS 7-string Soundgear
Wal MkII 5-string
NS Design Omnibass
Ibanez Black Eagle
Amps are Aguilar AG500 through GS 210 and 115. -
Up for sale is my Travis Bean TB2000 with serial number 110 i.e the 101st made.
Koa body, natural finish.
All original parts left down to the last screw.
Beautiful worn-in look, quite a few dings on the lower bout. Two dings in the fretboard
by the first fret (pictured). Lots of life left in the frets.
Outright lovely bass with the angriest tone and longest sustain on the planet. Eats
my Ric for breakfast.
Issues: the barrel jack has been secured pretty amateurishly with a brass plate (pictured)
and the original brass nut groove on the d string has worn down just a hair too low which
makes the open string buzz a little if you hit hard.
Original case in worn but 100% functional shape. All latches work perfectly.
Bass is located in Sweden and while I prefer local pickup I'm happy to ship it anywhere.

Selling an Ovation Magnum II ca: -79 in remarkable condition.
A few dings and dents but with all of the black anodizing left, fully functional mute with original foam and no cracks
in the pickguard what so ever. As far as I can tell it's 100% original.
Comes with hardcase (possibly not original), original bill of sale (Germany 1980) and original promotional Ovation pick.
Sounds AMAZING with everything from the dubbiest of bass from the four-coil(!) neck pickup to the shrillest of treble courtesy of the U-pole bridge pickup. Coupled with a very radical 3-band eq you can get some completely unique sounds out of this baby.
Body is one piece (light!) mahogany.
Neck is carbon fibre reinforced mahogany.
Ebony fretboard, excellent frets.
Bass is in Sweden, happy to ship more or less anywhere. Since this is my first post obviously I don't have any feedback,
however I believe there are a few other users from the swedish pratabas.se-forum here who might be able to vouch for me.
Looking at €800 + shipping, willing to trade for fretless 5- or 6-string. Thinking about Music Man or Yamaha but open for any suggestion.
More pictures available on request.
Cheers!
