1. If you're looking at this, I assume you'll know the "velvet hammer".
This is the description as per the Phil Jones Bass website:
"Serious power in a small package!
Although it may look small make no mistake about it – the PJS M-500 is a very high performance bass amp. In addition to its incredible power, the sound quality is as good or better than many high-end audio amplifiers used in expensive hi-fi systems or studio monitor systems yet was designed from the ground up to stand up to the hard work of any serious musician.
The M-500 is high-powered compact bass head that that can deliver over 700 watts of pure, clean power. The ultra-clean pre-amp features a Parametric EQ as well as a 12-band graphic EQ to offer precise control of your tone – while the built-in 3:1 compressor offers control of your instrument’s dynamics without robbing it of its precious tone."
Specs:
Power Output (RMS) 720 W/2Ω, 480 W/4Ω, 280 W/8Ω
12-BAND Graphic EQ
2 x Input (Passive, Active), Line-In, Volume Pedal,Headphone
2 x Speaker Out(8Ω/Speakon), 2 x Preamp Out, D.I. Out(GND Lift SW, Pre-Post)

Since I quit the band I don't need all that sonic headroom anymore, and my neighbors appreciate of a sale. Glad to ship.

4. Some beveling there is, though in the traditional konvex style.
Hope this pic shows better:

The black strip down the center is Ebony.

Beautiful! I take it that the top does not have the beveling that the painted ones have? Or is it just that it doesn't show in the photos? Also, what's the black strip down the centre? Is this a different wood, or painted?

5. As rare as hen's teeth, this is one of the few original Kubicki Ex-Factors with a custom top.

2005 built by Phil Kubicki RIP himself. Veneer on Alder Body. Standard Ex-Factor specs, listed on the Kubicki website http://www.kubicki.c...logExfactor.php.

6. Great design indeed. Can be easily put down without a stand on account of the double strapholders.
Not that you want to put it down, though. It's a player.
(Note to self: make sure door is not opened from outside)

7. Ritter Classic 4 fretted for your kind consideration.

Flamed Maple body w/Quilted Maple top, Ritter Late-Lounge high gloss laquer finish, Flamed Maple bolt-on neck, Rosewood board, Ritter 3-band preamp with all the bells and whistles.

Specs: 34” scale, width at nut 41mm, string spacing at nut 11mm, at bridge 19mm. 2002 build, weights in at a mere 3.8kg/8.3 lbs.

Flaws: small lacquer checking at string anchors (especially at A string); hairline crack (ca. 4 cm) at top of output jack; minute scratch top of headstock horn. All shown in pictures (edit: crack picture in focus now). Otherwise pristine condition, that is, like new. No scratches, dents, buckle rash, none whatever. Truss works fine, straight neck, super low action.

So let's get this right, these are your rejects ?

:)
Well, not rejects, actually. They just don't deserve to play second fiddle. Wish I could justify to keep them all, though.

9. In the quest for the perfect sixstring, I didn’t compromise. Now that I’m settled, its time to thin the herd.

Up on the block:

Pre-Gibson Tobias Classic, withdrawn

Wal MKIII/6, SOLD

Sei Original headless 6, SOLD
.

10. Early 1989 Tobias Classic 6, made before the Gibson buyout, all original down to the strapholders.
Goncalo Alves on Walnut
Birdseye Maple neck with Purpleheart stringers
Pau Ferro fretboard
Original Bartolini pickups and preamp
Great condition, normal wear from being played for 25 years. Frets have plenty of life.
Some white spots under clear coat, assumedly from moisture, which has been seen before on instruments built before the Gibson buyout money gave way to a new spray booth.
Neck is perfectly straight, very low action. Double truss works fine.
Specs: string spacing @nut 9mm, @bridge 16.5mm, neck thickness @12th fret 22.5mm, weights in at 10.2 lbs, 34" scale.

No looking for trades please.

Edit: withdrawn for now, no more bumps. If you're interested, just shoot me a PM.
