Total Watts

1. I had one of these a couple of years back, great amp, power houses for sure!
2. Hey, I am currently returning to playing bass after a short break and have previously played in a soul/funk band which also included a horn section which was amazing to be involved in, so I appreciate this kind of act doesn't come up often. I'm aged 38 and live in Essex which is stones throw away from Kent and just a few miles from London, so please drop my details over to the band... I'm an 'ear' player, don't sight read but do pick things up very quickly and am more than able to handle such a postion in an established band. I look forward to hearing from you, regards - Mark.
3. So it didn't sell in the end then and its back on ebay too...? I did make an offer, am open to some negotiation....
4. Lol no it's natural satin in a four string. Cheers, Mark.
5. Guys! Just ordered me a rockbass corvette $$ for £510, including a gig bag, not a bad deal I'd say!!! Will post pics once she is delivered... Cheers, mark.
6. Guy's what can I say, thank you soooo much and sorry for being a pain in the royal backside on this, i really appreciate your help and advice!!! Thank you for taking time out to answer my questions, kind regards to all - Mark.
7. Hey guys! I tried out a Corvette $$ four string today and have come back a little uninspired... It could one of a few factors; the strings were a really heavy gauge as i like light ones (30-90) am not sure if the TC electronic combo it was going through was muffling the sound of the bass or if its was because it was a China made rock bass. I went along to the shop today thinking it would sound like the clip below? Could it be that the clip below was recorded using a Korean built bass? Again guys I'd really appreciate some advice.... Thanks in advance to one and all ! Mark. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdXeI3V5igA&feature=related
8. Hi guys, I'm Mark and a total newbie here. I have jumped in already with asking some advice on buying a Warwick bass, well a Rockbass Corvette $$. See the post... I'm 38 years old and live in Essex in the South of the UK. I've been playing for years now, but have had a couple of years break. I did previously own a couple Status Basses, great and well made guitars. The first one was a Status Energy four string. Then as I get better at playing I went all out and had a KingBass made, it had custom string spacing and even side and front LED's (Blue) but sadly I sold it and took a break. Now I'm back with my own home studio and playing a real live bass was missing from my life and my recordings, so I'm currently shopping for a Warwick. I've around £500-£600 to spend and so I'lll be trying a few out in the next week or so... I'm into anything with a good groove, soul etc. I love to play slap bass such as the main guys, Mark King, Stanley Clarke etc.. but there are soooo many great players out there. I like Dave Marks also, I saw him at the bass show this year in London and was impressed. Check his website out and you tube where you'll find him. Old well bass friends, speak soon and I'd love to hear from like minded bass slappers!!! lol Cheers, Mark.
9. Hi guys, thanks for your wise words! I will try a few, new and old will see what floats my boat. Cheers, mark.
10. Actually guys I've found this for sale, what do you think and would getting from the USA cause me issues like tax etc...? 11. Cheers guys, the feedback is great, like it! Still can't decide what to do.... i will try a new one at the weekend as I have found one to test and then I'll try and find someone with one for sale near(ish) to me to see what the difference is first hand, then the old wallet will need to come out one way of another?? Thanks a million and please any more advice will be well received, especially with regard to feel and overall sound on the new Rockbass and the German older ones out there.... Mark.
12. Hi guys and a really big thanks for all the replies, priceless ! So no one would suggest I go with a non german made one then, as I was thinking of getting a new one, costing around £600?? Dan, I live in Essex and can source a new $$ from either the bass merchant or dv247, they both good retailers? Any additional advice is really welcome and thank you in advance!!! Cheers, Mark.
13. Hi all, am new here. I'm looking at getting one of these bass's, I'm a funk slap bass groover, they look and sound good on YouTube etc, any advice very welcome???
