Christmas is coming bump

This has now gone - thanks to everybody who showed an interest!

Lots of interest but nothing agreed yet - so time for a bump.

Time for another bump.....

There seems to be a few Precisions up for sale at the moment so i thought I would drop the price - had lots of interest but nothing completed so far. Happy to consider sensible offers and also to look at any trades.

Thanks for letting me know it is an American Standard, cameltoe - couldn't remember what I was told when I bought it.

There has been a couple of possible deals that have fallen through - and a few trade offers - so far but this is still up for sale or trade, so get in touch if you are interested.

Just sold my Stingray to Dan. Friendly, good communications, very fair (he gave me an extra fiver on the figure we agreed!) and a pleasure to deal with - another top notch Basschatter. Highly recommended.

Only one tiny disappointment: looking at his username I thought he might have been the old bass player with The Ramones, but I don't think he was. Still an excellent bloke though.....

Just tried the link a couple of times and it works fine for me.

I have been asked about the dinks on this - so I have added some photos to the link in the first post above. The dinks are all very small (and hard to photograph) but this is a gigged bass and I wanted to be open about any slight surface damage - there are no major issues. I did try to photo the swirls on the pickguard but this was pretty much impossible......

I have had a request for more information on the case and 'bits and pieces' that come with this - so I have added some pictures of these. Link in the first post.

Lots of enquiries but nothing finalised yet - so a bumpo up to the top for this one.

Having said that I probably would prefer a straight sale and quite prepared to consider offers - it is a great bass but just not for me.

I have had some expressions of interest for this one, but no acceptable offers so far. I hope it is sensibly priced for a '75 Reissue in good nick....

I am looking to ‘downsize’ and not sure what to move on so I am putting them all up for sale.

Black with maple neck – 4 string. Comes with original hard case and straplocks. Not perfect condition: has a few small dinks and a replaced tuner (replaced with an original MM tuner). Originally had the unfinished neck which had got quite grubby and sticky so it went to Dave Wilson who cleaned it up and refinished it (satin finish): much better now – he did a great job.

I would prefer a sale but would possibly be interested in a trade depending what happens with the other basses I am selling – I just want to end up with fewer basses. Probably the best thing would be to just let me know what trade you are offering and we can discuss. One trade I would definitely be interested in straight away would be a good quality digital piano.

Immaculate sunburst USA Precision with maple neck. Have looked and can find nothing other than some light ‘swirling’ and a tiny chip on the pickguard near the truss rod adjuster. Z8 serial number (2008?) with original hard case and all the case candy. Not sure if this is an American Standard or an American Series – someone may be able to advise on this. Has the high mass bridge and you can string through if you want. Plays great and sounds just like a Precision (strangely enough!).

Lovely USA ’75 reissue Jazz in natural: maple neck with black blocks and binding. Good condition but not perfect: some small surface dinks and blemishes but nothing major - and it has been drilled for both ashtrays. Z5 serial number (which makes it 2005, I think) and it comes with Fender hard case, both ashtrays, some case candy and straplocks. Plays really nicely and has the 70s pick up spacing. All original – as far as I know – I bought it second hand and haven’t changed anything.
