    SOLD - USA Fender Jazz 2006

    2006 (Z6 serial) Fender Jazz with S1 switch.  Shoreline Gold. Maple neck.  Comes with the original Fender hard case.

     

    I got this in a trade with doctorbass on Basschat a few years ago but the time has come for me to move it on: I am not really looking for trades but I would consider a decent 6-string acoustic (as long as it does not have a narrow nut).

     

    Very good condition – when I bought it doctorbass was very clear about condition and said “It’s got one very small ding on the top front edge of the headstock and a tiny one on the back of the neck which is one of those you can feel if you are looking for it and lightly run a finger over it.” I have checked it over and can’t find any other knocks or dings anywhere – and the ones Mark mentions are very minor.

     

    I don’t have scales but I would rate it as mid-weight: sorry if that isn’t too helpful – I will see if I can track down some scales to give a better idea.

     

    The straplocks I fitted have been taken off and the originals put back on – there are a few bits of case candy.

    2003 (Z3 serial) USA Fender Stratocaster in Chrome Blue. Maple neck. Comes with hard case.

    [size=4][font=Calibri][color=#000000]I got this many years ago and have used it (at home) on and off as the mood has taken me - so it is in very good condition. The only flaw is the backplate covering the strings was cracked on one corner and repaired - you can see this in the photos. I have checked it over and can’t find any other knocks or dings anywhere – but will check it over again!.[/color][/font]

    [font=Calibri][color=#000000]Bit of a striking colour - I think Fender had 2 or 3 Chrome colours (I definitely saw a Chrome Red one) and I like it - but it may not be to everyone's taste....[/color][/font]

    [font=Calibri][color=#000000]When I got it the action was very low: I have raised it a bit (largely because I am cack-handed and a slightly higher action helps....) but it is still fairly low - and I am sure it could be lowered again if you prefer[/color][/font]

    [font=Calibri][color=#000000]I have never been sure what colour this is – it is a kind of subtle silvery/grey with just a hint of green – depending on the light. No doubt someone out there with greater knowledge than me can help out![/color][/font][/size]

    Basschat does seem to have a preponderance of thoroughly nice blokes - and Mark is definitely one of them. Mark bought my Sterling (after I contacted him having seen his Wanted ad) and everything went very smoothly. It was a long distance deal (Sunderland/London) but Mark was very patient and we managed to meet up face to face and avoid couriers. Very straightforward deal - Mark is very reliable and thoroughly recommended: interesting bloke to chat to as well!
