Cool is, that two Members of the german Bassboard "Bassprofessor" (yeah we're a small Board, but we all know each other also in the real Life) came to my House in the nearer Past and tested the Frudua, wich they did'nt know until that Point. Both were really surprised, found the Bass really great and were impressed with the Low B, Craftmanship, Sound Playability and Feel and both said.... "I wouldn't sell this awesome Bass." So I kept mine.... ;)

tom, don't forget to mention, that we are the dismissed ex-bassprofessor forum members and own our own board now!:

Very good advice there, Mr Foxen, No matter what the pro uses, there will most likely be something in the price bracket that will give a good approximation of that sound, from then on, it`s a case of finding it.

Here's my guitar amp - it's one I built myself. The circuit and layout are closely based on a Fender Princeton Reverb, and it's in a lightweight (9mm) birch plywood cabinet with an Eminence 1028k alnico 10" speaker. It does about 15 watts, is light enough to lug around on the bus and has reverb and tremolo to die for! Even though it's only 15 watts and a single 10", it's as loud as I usually need when playing semi-clean with my band. [attachment=101858:princeton front.jpg][attachment=101859:princeton rear.jpg]

    breathtaking gorgeous. :)

  6. sure I do dave. :D
the sei replaced 2 basses and if someone wants to buy my 1984 guild pilot no. 62 with pickguard and full maple neck, then I can cut down to 4 basses and won't miss anything. :D ( well , I would miss the pilot, though. just no use for it any more)

  7. as an guitarist I always had 12" combos, never needed a 4x12" cab. now I play a 33W/7W 1x12" combo usually in the 7W position. I never had the problem of not hearing myself or being too loud. It's about setting the EQ and directing the speaker to your ear and keeping a good distance. most guitarists want 4x12" in the same way bassist like the 8x10". but nobody really needs them unless you play in stadiums. ;)
