[s]NOW £1100[/s]

Now £1050 and I'll split the shipping costs, how does that sound ?

I got the opportunity to try a Sadowsky lately and really love the sound. I'm going to try to buy one here and to that end I'm putting up my Fender American Vintage '62 reissue for sale/trade. Ideally I'd like to trade for a hybrid Sadowsky PJ.

I can sell it fitted with flats or round wound strings. The flats however will give you the Motown sound in spades, this bass gives the very sound that James Jamerson (session musician for Motown) got for all those famous Motown hits. He used a '62 with flats, sunburst and all, so if you're into Jamerson you can't get closer than this really :)

The '62 reissue is now a collectors item as it is no longer in production. This particular bass will only increase in value from this point as it's in absolutely fabulus condition.

Comes with all case candy and original vintage case (which is also in great condition).

  3. I have the most fantastic little combo you've ever seen. Can do 500w @ 4 ohms and can even accommodate 2 ohm loads too. So in essence I guess you can pair it with just about anything you've got. Has tube aswell, all in all a terriffic amp and so light, my goodness it transports so easily.

The combo is by Carvin who as I'm sure you know do a great line in pro bass gear. I paid €1300 for it a year ago but it's come down a wee bit since then.
